I have my 6111 for almost 2 years now. And I had never had any problem with it. And I use every feature it has.
VERY GOOD CHOICE. Good memory, good camera (1 Megapixel), good price, good size, and it is a NOKIA.

i got this phone last month and as of now,i never had a prob with this..i like its style and its being so small...i just hope i'll never ever experience what other had said about tjis phone..as of now, i love it so much that i put it beside me even when sleeping...

I used my phone 6111 since july 2006, I think its a perfect phone. Verry good memory, battery and options. I like it soo much. Even when i need to buy another one, i will not throw it out.
It has a little problem in the screen when i open it and close it, it was about Flat Cable, I fix it and it goes good.

sigh... I used my beloved 6111 since aug06 and now, when I slide it up the screen turns sometimes into white, sometimes into half white and half black, and I have to wait 4 or 5 secs before I can restart to use the phone.
So sad... =(

i had a samsung d800 i hated that phone.
i bought the nokia 6111 and simply love my phone. i have my phone for nearly 2yrs and would not part with it. i have had no problems it fell a few times and still going strong. to me its the best choice that i have made.

it's cute outside, but the other than that, it's nothing. memory not expandable, and the flex is a headache!

Ask for error:The application has detected an unexpected problem and must shutdown
I have down loaded an e-mail application by Nokia 6111 and saved in my Applications File. However when I try to open/run the application I get this message; "The application has detected an unexpected problem and must shutdown." followed by the following message; "Required installation files have failed to download. Please ensure sufficient coverage and restart the application." Will somebody please tell me what is wrong (why I can't run the application on my phone) and how I can fix it. Thanks!

oh yes those white screen..
its because of the flex connector..
you need to open thew phone to tighten them up or replace it if damaged..

Nice,good looking phone. But software unstable, phone freezes up, screen goes white and hangs. I've only had the phone for 8months

Very nice phone with well rounded features
but
software unstable. . Hangs freezes and lockups etc and battery life just no good!

i used it 4 2 monthz...itz slide iz distroyd...n a white screen iz apperrin.....i hate it...!!!!!!!uuuurrgghhh

probaly the worst model ever
used it for 3 months and the slide started giving problems
the opening of slide fluctuated the screen and it went completly out

If u hav this phone, take it bk 2 the shop and get them 2 exchamge it, ive had to, make sure u get a different modle, this is a reli bad phone 2 have, ive had it 3 times, all same problems, now i hav 2 get a horrible 1 in exchange :( SO GET RID!!!

This Phone is s**t! i have had it 3 times in a row n they have all had the same problems, so hav my friends! Nokia need 2 seriously improve on this.
