this is the worst phone that has ever been made I work in a phone store and 99% of these phones have come back anyone who works in a phone shop hates the sight of this phone . nokia are on the slide sony are class .

It is a sexy phone but i must say it looks sexy for nothing. No card slot, less storage space.Worse off it like switches itself off when you are about to send a message(after typing a long message).
My advice buy it just for the looks, not reliable for business.

I got this phone for my birthday. it was great except for there is no slot card, and i couldn't use my address book because every time i went into it my phone would turn off then back on agen basically the screen would turn white then black and back on agen. and to make matters even worse the inside spring to make it slide came out and broke so it doesnt slide anymore! i have heard about these things ahppening to alot of other ppl and i didnt even drop it. so i recommend that you do not buy this phone!

I just got the nokia 6111 a day ago, i love this phone, so far evrything about it. This is the first time am coming across this site, and after reading all the negative comments am worried i might face the same problems is there anything i can do to private them from happening. This phone is my dream come true. Help me protect my phone from those problems.

the design is all classy & slique, but belive me anyone still thinking of buying it it's gonna be a waste of money and tym....... wen i 1st got it i had 2 take it back on the 2nd day for a new one, bt still da 2nd 1 has same hassels....... screen going white 2-3x a day , freezing wen trying 2 text........oh! en i can't even use my saved messages folder i case it jst dies on me.......... very nice looks but a crap 4 a phone, totally unreliable.......... & guyz u could have at-least made it use a memory card.

I finaly got some joy out of my 6111 situation. I HAD to go to the Telecommunications Ombudsman in Australia and within a few days the problem looks like being resolved, it pays to go straight to the top. I have had no end of problems and now looks like I may have joy. Watch this space and I will post the resolution when I recieve it in a few days. YYYAAAYYYY

This is a great phone and I new the first time I had it, very easy to use. Infact Nokia phones are very much user friendly.

I have been using it for the past 14 months. Its still looks good and you can even think that I bought it this month. I love it and it does not give me any problem. I think its time for us to take a very good care of our Cell phones not to keep on complaining.

My question is why is this phone still being sold on Ebay (I noticed quite a few were 100-plus dollars) if it is so defective? It needs to be shelved.

Oh dear. I just ordered one today! I have been a Sony Ericsson user for years, but opted for a special deal on this Nokia. It's going to be delivered in the next couple of days. I wish I had found this site b4hand. Watch this space!!

had this phone for a year and half and I have no problems with it at all? I don't know why so many people had major problems with it...but I really like this phone it has great looks and nice pink color

I got this phone coz I thought the pink slidy thing was cool, but oh my gosh no end of problems, the dealer I got it from has sent it to get fixed 3 times now on the third time I insisted on a new phone and guess what......same problem, hopeless. Im pushing for a different phone coz Im still paying for it.mongrels...waste of time and money, all my friends say are you STILL having problems with your phone..YES it a dud 6111

omgaaaaaaaaaaaaaddd people i think this phone is wicked and kool i got a nokiz 6111 in all the colours 1 in black 1 in pink n 1 in silver ashame about the sim numbers they aynt all the same but i think niothing sucks on these 3 phones gawd some people dont noo how 2 care for a phone!

I have had loads of problems with this phone and my friend also had the same phone and also had to get a new one twice as it kept going faulty.

So isnt there anything that can be done about the phones bought that have defects.I got my Nokia 6111 this morning and had it charging for 4 hours and it has yet to charge or indicate that i have it plugged in,the damn thing is completley dead.I took it to a service centre near me,they said it may be a problem with the charger port,I called back the place i bought it from and the guy there told me to see if i can get a new battery that might be the problem.I am sooo pissed right now,I fail to believe that my money has gone down the drain just like that,im really sorry i didnt come across this site before i bought mine.

Dont quite know where people are getting the idea that this is/was a good phone. I work for a mobile company cust service dept and there was a sigh of relief when it was discontinued. Sooooo many of them were re called due to faults. Battery life crap/not charging/switching off on the slide - you name it! God only knows whats happening to nokias these days...they used to be the best. Nowdays i wouldnt touch one that was dripped in diamonds...

I had a nokia6111.... And i bought a usb cable for 50euro, and it cud only hold FOUR SONGS!!!! Then about 2 days after ii got the fone it started going all white and i wud hav to turn it off and turn it bak on agen.... It did dat about 4 imes every day. then 1 day it went all white and even wen i turned it off and bak on agen it was still doing it. I took it bak 2 de store and dey gave me a new nokia 6111 and it did THE EXACT SAME THING but about 8 times a day!!!
My advice to you
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!
