READ THIS!!! : some of the 6111 phones have factory defects and others do NOT. it is possible that yours is one of those with factory defects,
my 6111 's basic problem is the back button refusing to function . this is easily fixed by turning the phone off and on once.
other than that it is a beautiful phone so to those with factory defects, im sorry.
it would help massively if there was a memory card or more memory tho cos its really gettin me down. there is hardly any space for more than 5 mp3s!!!
but its a sexy phone yeah

I got the Pink Nokia 6111 from my sister when she got a new phone. I loved the design of the phone, but the overall the phone sucked. I've now sent the phone in for repairs 3 times, and it still having the same problems! The Screen goes white daily! Sometimes the phone freezes in the middle of a text message, and all of the sudden my camera won't load. The screen stays black when i choose to go to it.I would never buy this phone again, if i had a choice.

Ive had this phone for a yr n 2 months, always feezes, battery bust n blank screen..so annoying..aargh

.............okay...maybe i was emphasising a little too much on the I HATE MY PHONE SO MUCH bit, but basically what i'm trying to say is that i'm quite annoyed and disappointed, as are a lot of other people who have this phone.

I got this phone in December 2006 for my birthday. At the start i was overwhelmed with joy about this phone, but 7 months down the line I HATE IT SO MUCH. I first started experiencing problems about a month or two ago, when the screen would go white and fade and turn itself off, or it would freeze. Then you would have to reset all your settings e.g. ringtone etc. Also the appearance of this phone is not good, as it is really quite thick and some of the keys stick down so i can't text. And when the keys do work when i text the letter n for example not on predictive text it'll sometimes give two m's instead. As this was a birthday present and i had whined about getting this phone i cannot get a new one, unless i buy one myself however it isnt very helpful when you have no money. The picture quality isnt that good and the memory is horrific. it can only hold about 3 photos before i move them into the recieved files folder to get more space. There seems to be more memory in that folder than anywhere else on this phone! Overall i am NOT satisfied, and my family and friends know this as i have been moaning about it so much. And what with all these new phones such as the LG Shine coming out it makes me realise how disappointing this phone is.

i love it but i think the fact that it doesn't have a memory card stinks! i like the size, colour and speed

well i dont know what you lot have been doing to your 6111. as mine is fine and my mate has had it over 1 year and still no problems..

I've never had any problems with this model - no freeze-ups, blank screens, nothing. I'm just mad that the memory's only 20MB. But then again, I do have an iPod.

My Bestfriend got this phone for her birthday in January. She's had endless amount of problems, she had to send it back two weeks after buying the phone. She & I traded phones for 2 weeks(She had her number put on my RAZR and my number put on the Nokia 6111) and we traded phone for 2/3 weeks. When we first traded I loved the design of the phone, but once i had the phone I hated it and it wasnt even mine! During those 2/3 weeks we traded phones, the thing would never respond, it wouldn't light up or anything when i slid it open, the screen nor the buttons.The times it did work the screen was just turn white at times and I'd have to reset the phone. The phone would freeze constantly, and sometimes the menu wouldn't respond. I was so glad to get my RAZR back.

hi all well after reading all your bad comments about this phone i was not going to buy it, but still went to have a look at it. and i bought it, ok its not got a big memory but its very neat, well done nokia this is really lovley...

HI all this is the worst nokia fone I had ever seen!! this is a piece of crap ??I bought it from 1 year and I fixed it like 6 times I actually paid money on fixing iot more than its cost!! I don't recommand u of buying it at all

Only buy it if your favourite screen saver is 'Insert SIM'.

i bought this fone 8mths ago and i just discvered last month that when i slide it open or close, the screen goes blank and i have to keep sliding to get it back....now i dont get to see the caller ID and i canot read ny text messages or send text to anyone. I thought it was a really cool phone, but i am so dissappointed. Also the memory to record songs is too small,and i cant download any of my pictures into my laptop. I dont think i will be buying anymore sliding phones from nokia, it is just a waste of money and time.

I got this phone in October '06 and had to get a replacement in January '07, then again in April, again in May + then 2 days later I had to go back to the shop!
This is possibly the worst phone I've ever encountered.
It switched off whenever it felt like it, wouldn't allow me to send text messages, ended calls, froze up......I can't even remeber what else.
Only one of the four mobile networks in Ireland sold this, which just proves that problems were anticipated - personally I think Nokia should never had put it on the market!!!!

i like this phone a lot!!!!!!!(although ive only had it for 5 hours). So far it rox!!!!
