This phone has caused me so many problems. I have had it nearly a year- my warranty runs out in 1 month. I have taken it into the Nokia 'Care' Centre 5 times to have it fixed- and most recently (after writing a stern letter to the managing director) i was offered a new phone- which, it turns out is only half a new phone and the problem is still occuring!! When i try to write messages and change the character/word with the '*' button the message DELETES ITSELF IN FRONT OF MY EYES. and then when i try to write a message, on the now blank writing field, random characters pop up- eg.when i write 'a' i'll get xdlgiey- which, again will slowly delete itself. Has anyone else had problems with messages deleting themselves!?!

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!!!
i've replaced it 3 times and it still turning itself off when ever it feels like it!!
yes its pretty (especially the pink) but it is ssoooooo rubbish!!!

Whenever im in beetween doing somthing like playing a game or browsing on the GPRS it swithes itself of so i have to switch it back on and when it comes back on it says to insert my simcard and if i whant to start it up without it and when i press yes it goes back to normal i got the special ediion for christmas i was well happy know im furious that it looks so cool but really it is rubbish

To get the back off you open the flap at the top and then push the red button. The back cover should then pop open.

This Phone Is Rubbish, i Got Mine For Christams, Since Then I have Sent It Off 2 Times And It has Done Tha Same Thing Each Time.. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.. Soo Yerr It Looks Good.. But It Is Not A Good Phonme At All, They Have Sent me A new Phone Each Time.. And The 1 I Have Got Now Is Just About Too Break Again!!!!!!

I got this phone as a gift from my dad almost two weeks ago because my pink motorola rzr had decided to become completely rubbish and refuse to switch on or charge. I have to say i absolutely love it..it's sooo pretty (i love the colour of the pink on mines!) and it's easy to use.it's the first nokia phone i've had and i have to say i will not be returning to flip phones or to motorola's again. it's da bomb people!!

23mb??23mb??thats the memory size this phone offers.thats like 6 compressed songs in there.very poor.and remember the 'no memory card' point??hu..those are the negatives.the positives, it acts a modem,and its kinda cute!!

Hya everyone,
I got this phone for my birthday about four months ago and it's been fantastic. My best friend got the same phone for christmas because I'd recommended it to her and she absoulutely loved it too, she was always asking me if she could have a play on my phone. But recently as many of you have said, every time she tried to turn the phone the screen went white and turned itself off. I've never had this problem though. I just think that some of the phones that Nokia are producing are faulty but not all.

good phone and easy to carry around,i enjoyed using the phone the first year but now, i hardly hear what the person on the other end is saying. they can hear me clearly though, even adding volume did has help.

At a first glance you would really love the look of the phone. I looks nice and very cute. But what really important is not the look but the performance of the Phone. Nokia should stop selling this phone for it is rubbish.

Got this phone as a free upgrade as part of my contract... read some of the reviews after I'd ordered it and was concerned. Initially no problems - I use my phone for the odd call and mainly for texting. Have a kick-azz digicam already and a poddy ... I want a phone to be a phone! Recently had a bit of a glitch with it requesting the PIN every few mins - popped back to my supplier and ('cos I have insurance!) got a software flash upgrade and so far it's been as good as gold - in fact if anything, it prompts for the PIN faster and generally performs better all round now.

and there is the factor of the deleting message. i mean... WHY does it do that! HOW does it do that... it pointless and just extra unecessary effort. why should i line their pockets with all that money in return for a phone that doesnt even work. cant they just call back all the 6111's! it defies belief! good luck with this phone.. it has caused me so much stress i hate it with a passion... it just looked cute..!

No way ould i veer recommend this phone to anyone! it ahs caused me so many problems it is uneblieveable. i just wish i had read the review before i bought it.i spent near enough £200 on this phone and in a few months the screen keeps flickering then going comnpletely blank. i cant see a single thing that i am doing. i sent it away to get repaired three times and everytime it just came back with the same problem. they gave me a brand new one and the same thing has happend. so it is not with the just odd one or two it seems as though it will happen to everyone eventually. also, it does keep switching off but then it turns itself back on again so ive even had to take off my pin code so that i can keep the phone on. dont get me started on the battery life. it only lasts a day before it dies on an average day but now with all these problems it seems as though it is shortening the life even more so i havce to charge it liek every half a day. the worst part is the phone companies who keep messing me about when i tell them about the problem, acting as if they have never heard of it before when clearly they must know full well as im not the only to have this problem. please dont waste your money on this phone.
