HI, im really worried now have just oredered this phone and its due in a couple of days!!! Hav had nokia 6230i for over a year and no probs wotsoeva. Hav i dun the rite thing?

cute phone in pink....only problem is the sound quality its very very quiet even on loudspeaker its not a good quality of sound. and also o2 have not added this to its portfolio to add games onto the phone.

Good that this site exists - my phone went white today with the same old slider issue - I shall return it to the shop and hope for a replacement of a different model

Hi, just started looking around for a new phone as mine (nokia 3220) has had it. All the phone shops have said that the 6111 is really good, but i'm a little worried now! Especially as the memory isnt great. How many photos on average can it hold?

i had this phone 4...a cuple of months been very gud! luv da slide design.\ although da black gets finagrprint ova it very easyliy...
ani1 how 2 clean it??????????????????????? cause i hav marks all ova it :(

This fone is HOT!! I had my 6111 for 5 months now, and its just in one word HOT!
I like the slide design, i like the camera.i have not had one battery problem. I work for a Communications shop, SO remember people.... New Nokia models like to have short, sparatic charges. 3-4 hours every 5-6 days is sufficient! DO NOT CHARGE OVER NIGHT! Highly recommended!

i recommend that you go for the SEw810i. Its a little wallet lightner but its worth every penny

Hi, I have had this phone for one day. Its a great looking and easy to use phone. I have it in pink - lovely and girly :) The reason why I got it is because my friend has it and when I saw it, it felt good, camera wasn't bad, looked good and was sooo light.
I have gone through 3 different phones this week its crazy just because they've not lived up to my expectations! I had my Nokia 6230i for over a year and wanted an upgrade - I tried Samsung E900, Samsung D600 (which broke) and now this Nokia 6111. My 6230i seemed the most reliable so far but its so old :|Maybe it's just my luck, but the Nokia 6111 has caused me a few problems already - not good!
1st - the battery isn't good but I'm not majorly upset about that.
2nd - The screen keeps dying on me and going blank or white, when trying to load certain screens.
3rd - when pressing navigation buttons the phone appears to be very fragile and as if it is going to break. Also causing the phone to switch off. So annoying!
Other than that it's is a nice basic phone which isn't heavy or hard to understand. It's a Nokia simple but effective. But I think Nokia might have to work on their sliding a bit more coz to me it seems a bit dodgy.

i have been doing some research on this phone. It turnes out that the nokia 6280 is far better than the 6111. the battery life is not good at all on this phone. i wouldnt buy this phone my self.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!! i had it a day and the speaker quality is awful it was very distorted so i have sent it back. can anyone recommend an alternative that is decent.

Had phone for 6 months - the display has just packed in. Display is white, i.e blank but with the backlight on. Phone is still working except I can't see anything! I guess that's it - I'll be without a phone for weeks now!! Bummer.

no its not a chics fone as it comes in black i love this phone only had it for the last 3 days but would recomend it to anyone

Nokia rocks! I enjoy selling nokia cell phones especially the 6111, I look forward to the next upgrade to be on the market.

I've just taken the phone on contract and waiting for delivery. After all the bad things I've read already, I'm scared. Anyway we'll see what happens. But above all, Nokia has always been the best.

I bought this phone last 6months ago... i also encountered the same problem with the phone as for the previous comments on the post. The problem was when i open the slide and go to messages then INBOX the screen turns white. I check with couple of phone technicians and some said software problem, some said its the ribbon, and last the other one said it is because of the hardware and the memory should be replaced. I am confused... can u please help me by giving me advice on how to fix my phone? thank you
