Hi!Just wanted to know wether the screen going blank is a common problem with the 6111.I really love this cute hanset,but it's reviews aren't all that great!

If anyone is considering buying this phone, DON'T!! Spend the extra and get yourself another phone. The Battery life is shocking, you are lucky if it lasts 3 days!the keypad is small and the little centre "joystick" is really bad in comparasion to other joysticks.
I love nokia, but sadly, not one of there best phones..

a nice thing to have the only problem i have with it is when you switch it on sometimes it takes forever to responde.i thought im the master and my phone the servernt but no i have to pleade with it to switch on.i just got it for 3months

I bought this phone for two weeks....
and yesterday the screen went all white...
I thought it was me...now I know it wasn't...hehe...I will see if I can change another phone...
I still like Samsung better...god...bought this only becasue it was pink and cute....;s

I brought this phone 4 months before. But I don't know whether this phone having manufacturing defect. The Flex/display of the phone is repair 2 times. It's not a long lasting phone.

The phone is not good, Nokia Service also geeting worse, more than 2 weeks already, still can't get the phone done, and they can't even advise when we'll be able to colelct the phone.

2weeks ago, I bought a Asia set N6111 fm a phone shop as a gift 2 my friend in China.
Yes, d phone wif Chinese support but can't write Chinese in sms.
Could any1 could help me how 2 solve tis problem will b vry much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have this phone in pink. I like it. It is cute. ;p Can someone help me how or where to purchase additional ringtone for this model? My provider is T-mobile USA. It seems a lot of places cannot support this model phone with my current provider. Thanks.

This Phone is rubbish. Ive had it for 6months and totally had enough. It cuts out all the time. It has a mind of its own. It doesnt always do what its supposed to do. Doesnt store everything, doesnt call out sometimes.
I wouldnt bother.

This model is not good at all, only 3 months, the LCD screen suddenly blank, sent for repair for 4 hours, then I use it to sent 2 sms and test on video recording, the phone suddenly overheating and die... totally can not on at all.
Sent for repair again, now it's been 2 weeks and still not ready, due to Nokia need to change the motherboard, and because of so many people having the same problems according to them, they run out of stocks, and now we are waiting for the new motherboard stock to come from origin country, Finland by seafreight and inland tpt, can you imagine how long it will take? at least 40 days.......

all you people do is complain!!!
ive had this phone 4 2 months and its fine....the battery life is fine...the screen is fine.
its a phone...and at the price that we get it for its actually a good fone!!
it calls and receives calls, it send msgs & takes pictures..
the only disappointment is the memory..but if you put the pics on ur comp then it saves a lot of memory!!

Hey you sensible ones out there,
Dont ever make the mistake of buying or rather accepting a 6111 as an upgrade option cos its absolute crab. I have had min for 1month now having used it for only 2weeks, the screen has practically gone blank and the phone freezes often especially when you need to make an important call. Forget this phone and go for a better choice.

Anne, the other lady is right. Forget about the 6111 and go for the 6230i. The 6111 sliding keypad is just another thing that can go wrong.
I have had a 6230i for over a year now and it is easy to use and solid. Battery life could be a little longer as I have to recharge it every 2 or 3 days and it is not because I don't leave it long enough on charge. The picture and video quality

I have been looking for a new phone and heard that this one wa great. Now after many opinins I can't be sure anymore. In the same price range and with the same functions is there another nokia thatis better?
I don't know whether to stick to the 6111 or not :(

Everyone is saying that this phone terrible and that nobody should buy it at all. I think they are wrong, I have had mine (in black pink out of stock! :-( ) for a fewe months now and it is great, and still fully functional. The slide works well and the battery life isn't bad, maybe if people left theirs charging for the right amount of time before they used it it wouldn't be so bad. The memory isn't great but if you want this phone to be a phone, a radio and a camera it is fantastic. STOP BAD MOUTHING MY PHONE!
