i have the nokia 6111 and it is a good phone it dosent have much memory but it stores all that i want. so in that respect the handset is fabtastic. i hope in the future that nokia bring out someting similar with more memory. i will definetley buy one.

Hey Anne! My Answer: 6230i. You'll be happier. I have only troubles with 6111 and i had before 6230i. The only thing is the small Display, but it has a better Quality. If you don't want problems and a mobile that works and works and works, take the 6230i. You can advance the memory, soundquality just great an long battery life. The best Phone ever. I wish I could go back and make my decision undone. The 6230i is so much better.

hi ppl i neede ur help, i get a 2 pick a choice of Nokia 6111 in pink or Nokia 6230i but there are BAD comments about 6111 sum1 plz tell me how many MB does 6111 hold which 1 should i pick?????

I Don't Think This Phone is Very Good As The Slide MEchanism on Mine Has Broken Though This may just be a faulty one i have been given though i wouldn't recommend this phone as better ones are available at same price

i really like this fone in the pink its so cute iv ask ma dad to get it for me and im still watin but i will get it very soon after reading the comments i dnt know what to think really , i knowe that the memory isnt gr8 but its does every thing i need n does the music player play load and does it come with a usb connection nad is it easy to use

Have it for a two months now, no problem whatsoever. Just a simple little phone, don't ask too much of it. Will try the 6131 in a few weeks or months (never buy the first batch of a new electronic gizmo....)

I have had my phone 2 months ..the screen recently died though...Looked great, nice features, nice size...One thing...Screen went completely blank very regularly. Since the screen went blank it has been blank for a while now. I am awaiting delivery of a new flex cable located behind the screen that got cut somehow causing the screen to go and stay blank...Hoping to get it fixed soon..Its a neat phone..

is it your first mobile? compare it to 6230i... its rubbish that phone and yes i have a digicam for nice Pix. the cam should have 1.3 Megapixel, 6230i had it too and it makes much better pix than that little thing. i am happy for you that you have a good one. i have the pink one. and its just horrible.

nokia 6111 is the best fone eva!! any1 hu says this is a bad fone is a liar, mine works perfectly, had it for 2 months, no probs at all.if u gonna buy a nokia 6111, get it in black or silver, i herd that the pink 1's keep breaking down.
cameras gr8 4 taking pics, if u want a good pic quality buy a digital camera. the spaeakers arent terrific, neither is the battery life or memory but its a good,small, stylish, fone 4 the landies handbags.

Hey!
I got my Phone back again today. It was the second time i brought it to the repair Center. Its horrible. the same holy *s**t* like it was before. that phone drives me crazy!! Its a little good looking piece of hell. Slider makes noise, the buttons are making too noises, you can't look straight in the Display, it goes blank, you can't make a phone call because you can't understand what the person says (speakers are horrbile), the cam is bader than a VGA cam. Spend your money for better phones than that. @that person who says bad comms are liars: shut up and use it a month two! an then we'll see.

Had mine for a week now. The memory is a prob, but i solved it(in part). Got a prog who convert to aac the musics then convert some mp3 with 16mhz, mono and the music was about 900kb. Now im usin like a music player. Very cool(ps: Used bluetooth to connect, what was great too)

Stop Complaining about this fone...the fone is very good without any problems...i have one for 2 months & it never made me problems.The only disavantage is the memory...but you can buy a 6280 wich has memory card,and it's similar to this one.

I had this phone just for a month and the screen goes completly blank. Loaded softwsre, changed the chip but still strugglong with it

Great looking phone, very stylish, if all you want to do is show off and be cute. Pictures are awful when you use the flash, sound quality is not that great (I often had to use the speakerphone to hear better), battery life is short, voice recording is not very clear, cannot add memory so forget about downloading music, and awkward to text with one hand. I'm sure Nokia has much better quality phones for the same price or even less.

Had mine for approx 2 months (since march), I'm in Mexico and it has the v 3.45 firmware.
It looks spectacular BUT the phone keeps on crashing intermittently. It crashes for no reason.
Did you notice that the phone can't be used with the 'Nokia PC' suite provided in the Nokia page via bluetooth or infrared??
It might LOOK good, sadly it is the WORST phone I have ever had. Some people might be lucky not to having this problem...but it could happen anytime. To the person who comments they've only had the phone the few days and can't understand the complaints about it... give it two months.

This phone has an inherent design flaw and should be recalled. I, like many others, have a problem of the screen going completely blank - apparently this is due to the springs cutting the ribbon which conveys information to the screen - and is why it 'lasts' for a couple of weeks after repair
