Not at all satisfyed with this phone. Becauce
after some idle time if you are opening media gallary or trying to compose a message the set automatically reboots. After that we have to set the details like message center numbers.
Vibration aleart is not working.
Loud speaker is a waste one.

Hello Boston Girl,
I am from Cambridge MA and I wonder where did you get your 6111 from? I know there are quite a few internet shop that carry it, but not sure which one is reliable, therefore would like to run by you before I try out any of those stores...Thanks much!

I have had this phone for 4 weeks. It is currenty with o2 for repair. I understand Nokia have admitted a design floor. It would appear that the slide mechnisim can "catch" an internal cable that connects the "bottom" part of the phone to the "top" part which causes the said cable to disconnect (thus dissconnecting the screen), as it has with mine, this cable then managed to mangle itself into the slide runners jamming the whole thing closed.
I therfore could not recomend this phone to anyone, which is a shame as apart from the problems i have it should work well. Battery life is indeed crap but not nearly as bad as my old Moto v600.

this phone is bullsh*t. the camera sucks. the screen display's quality is so low. the 1, 2 and 3 buttons are often blocked by the slide-up. the camera shutter's a failure. the phone self-restarts itself. the batt life just sucks to the core. theres no memory card slot, the phone's configuration alr 3mb so you're left with 20mb only. like what the heck? and the phone looks like a toy. booooo.
do not get this phone. its a waste of precious $$$.

Whoever has a question about if this phone works in the US...don't get scared but what they tell you. YES it does!! As long as you buy it unlocked. It doesn't have to have all 3 bands your carrier has, just one. I have Cingular and it works no problem. I even went to a cingular and they fixed my web options to be compatable. Any more questions, ask me.

I just got this phone 2 days ago. So far so good. I love this phone, its small, its girlish and its elegant. Its very user friendly, the color is good. Yeh, the battery life is a lil short.. as u see its only 700mAh (That's why the phone is so light). But it'll last longer if you don't play bluetooth and games and take tons of pictures a day?! Charge it then.. when you sleep, not like its a big fuss. =)

Originally I was put off by all the bad comments about the 6111, but when I finally found a silver one after searching forever I just couldn't resist.
So far so good (touch wood!) but there are two things that have been mentioned here that I agree with. Firstly the battery really doesn't last all that long, and I don't think the second point is just my phone, but when it is closed the bottom half does 'wiggle' a bit side to side, which is a bit worrying!

I agree Rich, it looks a tidy wee phone until you actually start playing around with it. All the time it's taken Nokia to actually release it they could've spend more time on perfecting it. It's cheaply made and could've been soooo much better. Still it looks the part.

Looks nice, untill you pick it up, then oh no, its horrible, the screen is old and crappy, the camera is too. When you use the camera you have to turn it sideways, which is cool, but your thumb rests against the top slide, and it moves, like side to side (the way it shouldn't)
Could have been such a nice phone, it looks so beautiful, but sadly the build quality is so, so bad!
