I like very much this phone, and i want to buy it, but i wonder which is better, this or 6600 one. I saw that 6111 hasn't got a slot to expand memory, and this is bad for a Mp3 player with camera.

Is it the memory space a problem for this phone? Please answer me!

So far I like the phone a lot. However, I have to admit I'm considering returning it becuase the 4-way scroll button is so LOUD! I often text during lectures and there's no way I could do this discretely because of the noise this button makes. Also, stuff like playing games even in a reasonably noisy room is out of the question. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just mine?

Great simple little phone. Do not need anything else. No bug, no problem.

bought the phone and now heard of 4 cases of 0 and 1 button locking with other peoples and mine- several 'restore to factory settings' and seems to have solved that- however im also on the second battery-and if unplug in morning ill have to recharge by about 10pm- i will take back again but will keep phone for its other good functions-come on nokia- stop turfing these things out without proper testing and wreck that global dominance you have--SORT IT OUT

does anyone know how to turn on the t9 texting capabilities? so that the key pad knows the word as you are typing it .... think the option is also called 'easy text' -pls email if you have an answer- thanks!

Hi guys! I had this phone 2 weeks and I don't have problems at all...The battery life it's normal.I don't switch off the phone never and I charge the phone every 4 or 5 days..I'm working in a phone shop in Spain and i sell 4 phones of this model and here we doesn't have any problems at all.
I think it's a really nice phone but the camera of samsung mobile's are better because the resolution of the display it's better than nokia...Only know Nokia are working harder to get better...
But the real I only like Nokia. And I know what I say.
                      Regards from Spain.

A song is about 4 MB. Memory of an empty 6111 is 23 MB. Can't you guys make a simple division ?

Could have bought any phone because money is no problem. Bought this one in white because lovely look and full of functions, even if somewhat limited. No problem at all, love it.

im going to buy this phone soon, and im sure its not all as bad as you lot are making it out to be. i mean is the mp3 player eally tht bad, that your not able to upload songs, what about the radio. and you need to take care of your phones, that way you won;t have to keep returning your phone!

i think that this phone is good looking, and i cant wait to upload songs and listen to the radio on it, and the camera has a flash which i think is good!!

I couldn't wait to get the NOKIA 6111 and I had it on backorder just waiting for it to be released in Australia. I've had the phone for two or three months and I LOVE IT... but it's already been away for repairs once.
And to all those people who say "Take better care of your phone"... I work for a phone company and it sits on my desk at work all day, then on my coffee table at nite... the phone is looked after! When I was taking photos, the screen would go white and freeze, the slide started making horrible crunchy noises, then the phone completely broke and was off to repairs.
Apart from the problems I've had, I still think it's the sexiest phone I've seen in a while. I love it!
Although you can't store many MP3s in it, the sound quality is really good and you can just change the songs every few days if the memory is a problem for you.
Very sexy little phone - GET IT!

yes, there is a loop for you to tie your handstrap etc at the top right hand corner of the phone.

Yes, I think the Silver one looks alot better rather than the Black ones in the official pictures. Haven't seen the Pink one in ...real life though.

hi, this phone looks great, but the only thing i wanted to ask people was, is there anywhere on this phone to loop a mobile phone charm, or a hand strap? they normally hook under two little grooves in the phone, and u tie the charm/strap around itself to secure it. So far all the pictures ive seen ov the phone dont show anything really in detail, so i can't tell.
