i have 2 friends who bought the phone about a week ago. BOTH of them said the phone is wonderful with excellent functions & quality but rather low price.
but when i look around the net, i see quite a number of negative comments. it's really weird as it seems like people are talking about 2 different models.

Just got the phone for about 5 days. The screen went white/blank for 4 times at least. It just hung there for abt 5-8 secs then it pops back to the main screen. Each time this happens, a warning with "Check Connection Setting" flashes across the screen. Also it rebooted on it's own twice. The lid on top that conceal the charging + ear piece socket is quite a hassle to handle & it does not close up nicely. The sliding mechanism of the phone feels somewhat loosen after 3 days of usage. I'm beginning to worry that it might fall apart soon. Besides all the above problems, all other features of this phone's alright. I give this phone a 4.5/10 rating.

hello! I am an Italian young lady. The nokia 6111 has just come out in Italy. I find it really "attractive" but I woud like to know how long does the battery last, and if the audio is good..these are the two most important qualities I look for on o a phone, i do not care about the quality of the camera etc etc...but I just want to hear the other person on the phone loud and clear when I am speaking..after all that is what phones are for.

i've seen on some peoples comments that say this phone has no CARD SLOT. like the actually phone card? or they meant MEMORY card slot? =/

this phone rocks. what a beauty man. haven't had any problems bout the phone hanging so far. trust your instincts man. go get it!!!

I bought the phone 2 weeks ago and already it hung a few times while trying to send SMS. Also, when sending sms to many people, while adding the contacts halfway through, it just went blank and a few seconds later, it went to the main menu and I had to compose the SMS and resend again. Sometimes while navigating to other options, the phone would just go blank and restart itself. This has never happened to my former Nokia 6230. The battery goes flat quite fast too. I am disappointed with this phone.

I bought the nokia 6111 yesterday as i loved the design of the phone, however i will be swapping it for a different phone asap! the keyboard isnt backlit for starters so u cannot txt or call at night! and you just cant hear people on te other end of the phone its just so quiet and thats on max volume! txting is annoying, it doesnt keep in trend with other nokia phones and taking pics is a bit of a pain too! extremely dissapointed!

I saw the pink and white version in a mobile phone shop... but for display only. I RELALY HOPE they will have the pink in stock SOON.

My N6111 Is On Contract Unfortunatly BEcause PAYG N6111 Werent Coming Out Until December 26th :( Anyway These Phones Dont Scratch Easily Unless You Like Dropping Phones... LOL! Its A Good Phone And Doesnt Scratch

I love the phone. it looks and sounds like an excelent phone to have because its not bulky, its got a digital camera and it'll sync with the pc.. so its like having a really compact phone and cam in 1..
please.. i need some one to supply me with a valid site that will send the phone to the US for me..

Ok, went into the Carphone Warehouse today,
beautiful phone and very small, the 1, 2 and 3 are too near the slide and the sliding mech could be smoother however a really trendy phone, i advise anyone who likes the look of this phone to buy it

ahhh.. anyone knows how's the battery performance? i just need to know how long is the ACTUAL standby time...
i trust nokia's software & i have read quite a number of reviews saying it's a powerful phone, in terms of functions and quality. so the system clash shouldn't exist.
