has no one not realised yet that on www.lxdirect.co.uk they are selling the N6111 on O2 pay as you go for £164.99, delivery within 4 weeks and they are all in stock! I have phoned up the carphone warehouse today and they don't have the N6111 on pay as you go because none of the stores have it in stock yet, neither do O2. I'm going to go instore tomorow morning and if they have it in stock then I will order it. But remeber because Lxdrect is so cheap and carphone warehouse have a price guarantee they have to drop their prices. If they don't I know where I will be getting mine from.
I still don't know whether to get the black or the silver. What are everyones opinions? I held the dummy phone in CWarehouse and it was in black, it did feel really plasticy. But for some reason I think if I get it in white/silver it won't feel like that What does everyone else think?

oh dam!!! isnt it gonna be out on virgin mobile pay as u go? and i thought that it was out in carphone warehouse some1 earlier rote that they had brought it from there this is really strating 2 pi*s me off!!!

I work for the Carphone Warehouse! I didn't know it was available on Fresh or Mobile World yet! I did check it out yesterday when I was working but I didn't see it!
Ah well this is good news really, Fresh is a great network, now all we need is stock of the phone! Which hasn't been easy for the past week now!

I now have all the official prices for pay as you go nokia 6111 on all networks
o2-£169.99 Orange-£159.99 Fresh mobile-£159.99 mobile world-£159.99 talk talk mobile-£159.99 all others do not support nokia 6111 on pay as you go from the carphone warehouse, but if wanted sim free, it will be £199.99 - this information is from carphone warehouse and other shops may have different deals however these are the best deals ive seen, they are on sale but wont be in stock untill week commencing 26th December 2005

no, its not out on pay as you go unless you buy sim free mobiles from £249.99 pay as you go n6111 are expected from end of the month

i went into the carphone warehouse and picked up a brochure and it said NOkia 6111 coming soon on pay as you go from £159.99 i asked them when it would be coming soon, they said toward the end of the month, hope this helps =)

a very good phone in my opinion, i played around with a dummy model and it felt a little chap.. its disappointing that it only has 23MB, no expandable memory and the internal memory is very small considering this phone has a music player =/

the feel of the nokia 6111 is OK but iwouldnt mind if it was a bit heavier, the look is amazing, but its slightly light

You can get Australian stock off Ebay now, its been out for a few weeks there. I live in Tasmania and the 6111 is due in the local stores next week, maybe you should buy the phone outright instead of waiting for Optus to release it

That's the main thing I want to know; does the phone feel sturdy and solid (like I felt the E800 felt), or does it feel plasticy, and cheap?

in turkey it's 440 euros. and only available in black. but i didn't wait and bought a razr v3. i hope i won't regret it.

here in luxembourg its available since yesterday and i got mine already. i just say one word: fantastic; it just can be beaten by the 6280. best nokia of all times. but quality of fabrication of the buttons could be a little better; i hope nokia will change that;

nokia have actually bought out a slider phone ages ago, 7650, which is a very good phone, and one of the 1st sliders around.

just recieved my phone in the post today from o2, its on monthly, i have been playing around with the phone and im very happy with it, i dont mind with the memory, i just take phots, put them on the computer, then delete them off my phone leaving more memory, and if i want them back on the phone i just get the off the computer, the camera is better than i thought and the sound quality is ok, the flash is very cool and everything about this phone is very good, hopefully i wont come across anything bad =)

Anthony, how did you get yours in Australia?! Which city? I'm in Melbourne and have driven myself crazy trying to get thid damn phone for so long. Every time I ring Optus they say they don't know when it'll be out.
I would've thought they'd put it out before christmas - all those wasted sales!

Here in India it is launched from 1st Dec.,05. I have seen in stores. Small and cute.The screen is really good with clear details. Sound is also good. But Nokia is novice in slider phones so only time can tell how good the instrument is.
