ive owned this phone for close to a year now and because im a multitasker, my battrylife suffers quite alot then theres the headsets that im against(wouldve liked to change tplaying track on the headsets) other than all of this i love the phone

For those who want a camphone. Check first the camera of 6120c under low light. It is greenish-red. This is the problem of this phone.

Hello, everbody I'm from North Sulawesi or Manado, Indonesia.....and I'm study in Informatics college.....and really I used nokia 6120 classic for about 1 years.....my current firmware is v3.83 (hit *#0000# to see your current firmware). For shortly, my personal experience/review about this cheap, faster, and hi-tech smart phone (Nokia 6120c) is :
1. Compact cellphone that can handle networking ; GSM (GPRS/EDGE) and UMTS (3G/HSDPA), for communication and internet browsing (I used for portable modem but it's depends on your operator network coverage).
2. Awesome little cellphone that have processor (see on the specification on nokia website) and enough RAM memory module, that can handle data process faster and mobile graphical acceleration . Recently, I have installed many application and games on my phone memory and microsd such as :
A. Application
a. Quickoffice 6 to view and edit microsoft office 2007,2003 doc.,xls.,ppt.
b.CameraFX 2.60 to give many variable FX effect to nokia 6120 classic 2mp camera front and QVGA back camera. And shut off the click sound of shutter camera.
c.Ultimate Voice Recorder 5.75 to record (sound) dialog call or what activities you doing on your phone.
d.Lonely Cat Games 2.17 to play audio format such as mp3 or other supported format with awesome equalizer (use it with 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to hear with other digital headset/headphone/home speaker system to get more great and fidelity sounds.
e.Adobe PDFreader 2.5 to view the latest and big size document of pdf format on your nokia 6120 classic.
f.Coreplayer 1.30 that can play video format like mpeg,divx,avi,3gp,mp4 and others supported format, except wmv and flv videos.
g.flashlite and flv player (must install both of them/integrated) to view swf animation and flv videos format (such as youtube). Download or transfer it to your memory card and play it offline on your cellphone.
h.Opera Mini 4.2 (jar/java application) famous mobile browser internet
i.Beat Ed 1.20 (digital drum tools) to make a new pattern of drumming (for drummers only). Because i have a group band and play drums too.
h.Secman 1.1 to hacking my easier firmware v3.83 (I read the rumors, that the newer firmware of nokia 6120 classic v6.01 cannot be hacking untill now). Secman 1.1 can hack the nokia 6120 classic firmware such as v3.70, v4.21, or v5.11 too.
SO FIRST, TO INSTALL ALL OF THAT APPLICATION YOU MUST HACK YOUR 6120 classic CELLPHONE. Search in the google and you will find it (that application that I mention). For some security reason, I don't want to share you about that information where to find that application for free. Hope your understand and search it from google by yourself. You will find it all.
B.Games
Absolutely great 3D game that's need a 3D acceleration. (Thanks for this cheap cellphone that can play it smoothly and perfectly. Thanks Nokia)

nazeaf, 04 Feb 2009better opt 6120 .coz its a super cool phone..the only draw ... morethx for it, but I m ok for music opt, since I normally use its radio only, the other time, I m using my ipod for music.
how abt for both 3rd part app installation? If look thro the spec, the memory for 6120c is fewer than 5320xp, will it affect lot of installation and usage for application?

if your phone is a china copy of 6120 then you should expect not expect anything good from it.
dapat bumili ng orig. for 3 thou you could have gotten an original lower model phone which will serve you better.

I bought dis phone Last week in SM TarLac for onLy 3,000 ,but it's China phone' hekhek' but it's good, but my probLem was the microSd card i'm using is hard to puLL out, & battery Life is not gud it onLy Last for 4hr if i don't use it, 30mins-1hr in Listening Music & i can't open my GPRS for browsing' but it has a gud sound quaLity & cLear in viewing a video unLike N5310 XM, that's aLL thank u'

recently i got the 6120C which is locked to network 3 uk.
but there's a problem.
when turn on nokia screen appears and automatically goes off. then phone restar about 3 times and never come to the start up screen. then phone shut off.
battary is fully charged.
but when connect the charger and turn on the phone works fine. but when disconnect the charger same problem occurs.
restart and shut off.
what can be this.
is it software problem or hardware problem.
please help me and expalin.
is anyone experienced such a fault
