um, "active file" is an application where you can see directories, tasks etc., although 'app mgr' can uninstall apps and themes, what is the problem really? do you want to remove currently installed themes or the themes that you have installed and did not like? am sorry if i'm not helpin' a bit... i juzt want to clear things

Dear All.
some one please give me the information about how to uninstalled themes and applications in 6120 classic i can't understand the answer of the guy who is talking about "active file" (where i found active file in 6120Classic) because "app mgr" shows 4 to 6 installed applications.
also i am facing some problems while i am playing mp3, after 1 hour its stop playing and i have to restart the phone.

...this phone really amazing because of its powerful features...
...do not compare this in nokia e51 because e51 is a BUSINESS phone and nokia 6120 classic is for those regular people and also for the special people who works in the office...
...6120 is faster din naman noh!but e51 is way faster than 6120 coz e51 is a business phone so it needs faster interface and responds!!ok!!,,,but a BIG BUT...when it comes to camera,6120 is much much great becoz of its LED flash in the main cam and it has a front camera...!!
...so if I where you,you where me!..joke!..hehe,
...if your a "business like" person and wants faster responds,go for e51.
...and if you are one of the special people i mentioned last time who wants a better phone,then go for 6120 classic!!...thats all,thank you!!.. :)

Hi. Can anyone help me with my 6120? OK, i just bought it and im trying to put my old memory card from my old nokia 6230i (its a 128mb nokia micro sd memory card) to the new 6120. So , when i turn it it asks me for a memory card code! I don't have a code and i didn't have to put one when i had it in the 6230!. Does anybody know what the default code for a micro sd nokia memory card is? (if there is one?). Or does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

too uninstall some themes you will need a file application i recommend ACTIVE FILE but others will do just fine BEWARE make sure you dont delete the files in the system folder as they are cruical files
btw you wont be able to uninstall the default THEMES or the BRANDED themes eg. the 3 one or the vodafone one

A 300mhz processor for a smart fone is actually more than enuf. and 6120 is perfectly crafted with this.
having a 600mhz phone processor is just like
having a girlfriend with nice boobs but ugly face.hihi..

hello, people! i'm back ;)
um, now to ayman,,
try opening the menu and the voice recorder as said by one of the people here...
kingston or sandisk memory? all i know is that they store data, i think it doesn't really matter what you choose...
battery life is about 2 to 3 days, i'm an average user i guess (play games, music, sms) and it lasts 1 and a half days or two...
for apps? try (nokiasymbianthemes.com) or (umnet.com)

yh thanx 4 the tip but i already have a black silicone case and a screen protector :-)
about you prob. try master resetting your phone and/or format your memory card
to master reset type *#7370# but beware it will reset EVERYTHING so back up your data

if you are having problems with the keys peeling off, try buying a silicone rubber case, it protects your keys and gives you a rubber grip, so it won't easily slide out of you hand, and even on a flat surface.also add screen guard, because the screen easily gets scratched.

im having problems with my 6120, anybody please help me..
1. some of my songs would hang while playing (jumps ang repeats like a pirated CD!)
2. some of my pictures are corrupted, won't open and as I try to delete it, it says, "unable to delete, file is open."
3.city bloxx (game) hangs
4.my received applications are corrupted (flip clock, a few games) though I have used them before.
I had my phone for 2 weeks now.. please help me.. anyone.. thank you..

@ all,
to record a voice call press the menu key while making a call and go to the voice recorder under 'media' then you can record the call

Hello all...i was wondering if any one who uses this phone can help me with some things here..:
Does the phone record calls cause the booklet that came with it says so but i couldn't find a way to do it...?
Does the Micro sd card brand makes any difference from king stone or San disk..?
how about the battery life?is it less than 2 days with hard work as in SMS most of the day and using the FM Radio at least 2 hours a day.!!
any idea from where i can get Apps for the phone and what i should like under..S60 or S60 2nd edition..??

thanks again for replying to my question...actually when it comes to nokia phones, I'm really into this Nokia6120...i don't like the bulgy phones of N Series...
....i'm now deciding between Sony Ericson's K660 and this one...both have HSDPA and all music and video features...I'm all satisfied with the 2Mp cam for I'm planning to buy a nice Digicam anyway....thnaks po talaga sa help!
