As for the Packed Data error, go into Settings -> Connections -> Packet Data.
If this is your first time, it will usually ask for a passcode for access to settings.
Now in my case, my service provider provides a generic 1234 pass code for all settings downloaded from them. The Packet Data settings is actually the same with your normal say 3G data settings (I can verify 100%). Enter the same pass code as the one for applying normal data settings and you have unlocked Packet Data access.
Thereafter you should have a toruble free data connection.

me too, my phone shows packet data something..i checked the internet settings and it's configured to my network operator. I registered my moile phone number over at globe north edsa for the settings and i haven't received any. I don't know why i can't use the browser..
To no name:
I bought mine at comcentre sta lucia last month. price was 13200 with 1 yr nokia warranty. Their units are also NTC registered. Some of the shops which are part of the gray market are selling 6120s at about 10000 pesos. Warranty is in-house and also for only a few months.

To connect to the internet, you need the USB cable and the PC Suite installed.
With the phone connected to the PC, in the PC Suite, chooce Connect to Internet, click settings if this is your first time, and choose your service provider from the drop down list (got to love Nokia for this. Loaded all the major SP from around the world).
After which click connect and its done.

its almost the perfect phone, but the navigation keypad is just not that good but what the hell its the best smartphone with low price
and remeber this is way faster than n82 and n95, and more suitable for any people

the 1st time i charge my 6120c (which i bought last nov. 22, 2007) was about 2 hours, on my 2nd charge also for about 2 hours...i asked the vendor about battery when i bought this unit she says 'it was full'. all i have to do is to drain it...before recharging
if u charge it for 2 hrs, it is ok. when the battery indicator is not moving during charging, it means the battery is full...

is it true that when you buy a new phone like nokia 6120 cuz i bought this one yesterday the 1st/initial charging time is 8-12hrs.?
anyone pls help me
and also the 1st time i charged this phone is only 2hrs. is it ok?

i bought this last Friday, Nov. 22. I just want to ask anyone how to use this phone to connect to internet (using this phone). Whenever i try to use it, I'm receiving this error message: "Packet data: Packet data is not available. Check network services" I'm using a smart prepaid sim card. Do i have to change sim card? How can i adjust the setting for internet connection? thanks!!!!

nokia gone bad-bad battery these are the list of phone with bad battery issue

6. and many more with 16M color display nokia phones, really have a bad battery life

Dear Zenyt you can find free theme on www.zedge.com,you have to choose n73 as your model number.because n73's theme is supported in nokia 6120.Also u can make ur own theme from this site.

I have just switch to this mobile and I found out that this mobil do nt have enough battery time, battery discharge aven after 1 hour talk time,i think this is nokia ,s worst ever mob in battery and display.

hi there is an problem in Nokia 6120Classic.This is very sensetive in nature.The silver colour of 4way navigation key is already erased(used less than 50 days).There is lots of scretch on the back

ei guys! can anyone tell me the quality of SOUND on its LOUDSPEAKER? is it GOOD?
the review tells that it has a MONO loudspeaker grill, PLS PLS tell me the SOUND QUALITY..

Yes, there is a drawback. The camera and audio quality of 6120c is nowhere near that of N73!

With all it's features, does anybody know why the 6120 is so affordable?? Compared, say to N73, where the price has gone down so many times but it's still a lot more expensive than the 6120. I mean, there must be a drawback some where. :-)
