The HSDPA network is capable of speeds of up to 14mbps. At the moment, most are around 3.6mbps.

"Some difficulties with pushing Menu button" I agree with you. We have the tendency to "push" the silver frame next to the menu button.

this fone is now free from 3 on all tariffs. very nice fone with all features i've ever wanted. however, calls have to be diverted to voicemail box after ringing for 20 sec. cant seem to cancel the call diverts which is annoying. does anyone have the same problem and know how to solve it? many thanks.

Simple, useful with functions...quickiest Symbion...

This device looks great - can anybody confirm if its 3G will work in the US (AT&T/Cingular?) The US uses 850/1900, and this supports 850/2100... does that mean it will work or not?

Yes I bought it from fnac.pt. It's unlocked and with no brand. So yes, you can buy it without any mobile provider.
This phone is already available in Portugal from June 30.

Well, the "music" speaker is not the loudest, but it's very clear.
About the RAM, after switch on there is +/- 21 Mb .
about the SAR. in the Manual there is no especific information about the real value.
Overall:
Looks: This phone is really smal and sleek. the black version is really nice, better than on the photos.
Speed: IT IS FAST. previously I had a Nokia 6131 wich is one of the fastest S40 mobiles, and this one is on pair, believe me. I have a standard,not so fast, 2GB microSD card on it and is very fast.
Battery Life. With an INTENSE use. and by that I mean watch movies, full screen with speaker on, play lots of 3D games, play some mp3s, have bluetooth on, etc. You can drain the battery in 1 day. Normal Use it will last for 2 maybe 3 full days.
