If you want to install almost any s60v3 apps, dont upgrade your firmware to higher versions. true, some very minor bugs are fixed, but also the security features of the phone is maxed. That means you can no longer hack (or bypass) the phone in order to install many apps particularly the unsigned ones. Upgrades limits your phone.

Actually My 6120c is very usefull n powerfull for browsing, streaming,chatting n emailing in the jungle (internet).

my newly purchased nokia 6120 is not working when i press power button full white screen with nokia written on it appeares and then after few seconds whole screen goes black and then it turn off what to do help

Can I use 16 GB MicroSDHC @ Nokia 6120c with firmware version 7.10? Coz I want to upgrade my memory.. (Now I'm using 8 GB MicroSDHC)

If still not working then bring it to Nokia/local repair centre is the only way :/

Sami., 06 Feb 2011I'm having second thoughts about this phone mainly because ... more- Upgrade your firmware to latest (as it brings more stability & improvement to fix bugs), along with PC suite & associate programs.
- Deep reset your phone once at least & format your memory card within in 1st use (any order called reflashing)
- Instal updated, trusted apps only; in E:\ if possible (avoiding conflict/crashing to system resource in booting process).
- Clear browser cache regularly to maintain memory, 3rd party apps is a must to free RAM (sometimes powerrestart needed), switch off autostart installed app (recently I found all-in-one feature in NetqinMobileGuard, somebody may experience better); Antivirus are welcome to such a paranoid.
General knowledge of operating system needed to treat this 'smart' phone. Many tutorials are spread elsewhere :)
Finally: no device's perfect, enjoy...

Mine works perfctly if yoz is hanging. 1. Hard reset . 2. Put yo pics in folders. 3. Buy 8 gig or 16. And i say again mine works ok i hope it keeps workin that way i lyk the 4ne.

it is amazing phone ya.we can bring all facilities in this handset.but you should aware about virus.it's camera clarity is better than x3.thank god and nokia

Forget about the LCG Jukebox...just hack your 6120c with hellocarbide and install the 3rd edition version of the TTPod with the english patch... far better than the LCG Jukebox. Try it
