since the 6131 battery is fairly poor, i was wondering if you can replace the 6131 battery which is the BL-4C (820 mAh) for a BL-6C(1070 mAh)?
does the battery fit into the back cover of the phone?
will it function properly?
will that improve its standby and talktime performace?
could it be damaging to the phone?
if this battery BL-6C is not compatible what other extended battery for better performance is availiable that will fit the phone?

Just got my 6131 upgrade and am disapointed with the text size on the display I have turned every option to large text but cant do it in the navigation menu,its stupid with such a large screen the small text hides in the corners and is hard to read the text is the same size as my old 6230i but this was understandable with a smaller screen. I was looking for a easier screen to read as my eyesight is starting to go and I need reading glasses for small text as many people do so I will have to put glasses on to use the phone menu!

Thanks for the explanation Bakaboy. Have just checked again and the website has definitely ditched everything about the 6131. Went into the search at the top of the page and no details were found. Odd when you consider it is listed in the June catalogue at £179.99 as you say.

Great Screen
Very Fast
Good Overall Quality
Very Bad Camera Performance on low lighting conditions. Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem. Will check on that!!!

DGR, because the system shows we have zero, it normally means they are on the way, otherwise it wouldn't state any number at all. Now if the website has taken the phone off, then that could be a bit worrying, however our system also shows an offline price of £179.99 which is another sign that it's on it's way.

i have a problem with terminal 6131 i ever see the image more small when i try load a aplication, can you said me if this is a problem to the terminal movil or what is it

Thanks for that, Bakaboy. However, if your system shows you have none and your website has taken the phone down altogether, what inpiration leads you to believe they are due in? This is not a rude question - just a question from an intended purchaser. They are indeed available from O2 and from T-mobile but as I wanted one for my Orange PAYG sim card and Orange are not intending to sell them, a SIM free phone from yourselves is my only answer.

Just bought one myself, and it's just schweet! Great keypad, awesome screen and the UI is great too, so easy to use. No sign of any issues yet, volume sounds good and the radio is really great to listen to! Recommended folks!

I bought it yesterday and, till, now, I have no problems at all.
It looks and feels great, quite slim design, the screen is wonderful and it works preety well... all in a very small and stylish phone.
I do recomend it.

I work for the Carphone Warehouse, the phone should be arriving soon, the system shows that we have zero in the warehouse meaning that it should be here soon!
Now I believe T-Mobile had some sort of exclusive on this handset as they have the phones already, which is why I got it when getting a contract with them!
If you have any questions about the phone, just ask and I'll try my best to answer them!

I ordered one of these from Brisbane a few days ago and now the store tells me that Nokia is no longer releasing this model into Australia. I have fired off an email to Nokia Customer Support to hopefully find out what's going on. Will post again when they reply....could be a while.

one of my friends work at an online call centre for 02 in scotland and told me there had been probs and they might be recalled. It would explain my probs but mine is working fine now (5th time lucky) so i dont really want a call asking me to give it back!!
