I do not understand why the telephone numbers show in such a large size and the text is so small? Somewhere in the middle of the road for both would be ideal! Previous models are better for us with not so good eyes.

I just heard from my Nokia Rep that T-Mobile may have an exclusive on this phone till the end of the month, so if your in the UK and you want this phone, I doubt you will be able to get an unlocked veriant available in retail!

Well my fifth handset has randomly turned itself off 3 times on me now in the middle of texting. I fear this will be another one to take back in a week or so. I am backing up my numbers and messages and pictures on Nokia PC Suite tonight just in case

BELIVE IT OR NOT
i picked up this phone yest night, went home and i could with in 2 min the phone went dead.
the battery life was 60%.
and still it wont start.
i like this phone a lot but this initial lots are horrible. nokia ppl u need to learn how to get things before u bring it out in the market.
my advice to the ppl is check this phone at the shop itself and then buy
unfortunatly i did not get to use my phone so will give my view after i get prop working piece(hopefully)

I had a 6131 for just over a week, was told by o2 to take it until the n80 came out just incase i liked it.
I really like the way it looked but felt it was just like a normal and quite simple phone. No special functions really. I did however like some certain features on it. Really looking forward to getting my n80 now!!!
If i wasnt so fussed about having a better camera and a better functioning phone i would have kept the 6131.
Woza.

Zeb, the same happens with mine, but I'm used to it, since my old 6030 didn't stop charging even if I left it for 16 hours. At first, I thought it was some kind of malfunction, and returned the 6030 to the shop for three times (grin). Battery life is really low with this one, so I got 3 chargers: home, office and car :)

I like this phone too but I am also concerned about the battery.
I initially charged it for 14 hours and in the morning the charging icon was still moving (denoting that it was charging.) Because I couldn't wait to play with my new cellphone I unplugged and started using it. The battery icon was now saying the battery was fully charged.
I added contacts, txted a few people and listened to the raido for about half an hour, a total of 1 hours worth of usage, and I noticed that the battery icon indicator was already HALF WAY! So fast?
So I charged again, and this time for 14 hours, but this morning that charging icon was still moving saying the phone was charging, what gives? With my last Nokia, it usually beeped when it was fully charged. How long does the one that comes with the 6131 take to properly charge up initially? According to the manual, from normal usage it should only take TWO hours :(

Well, got my 6131 yesterday and (at least) for now it seems to be pretty muck OK. Character size is small, though... that or I need to get a pair of glasses. The screen is bright and fab, but the camera is a bit yucky. I'm using it as a 2nd phone, since I can't leave my wonderful D600.

I fully agree, the font size is far to small. I hope it can be corrected by an upgrade.
