I'm using the phone for more than 2 years, all specifications are okay but it's flip stuck and there's a delay in viewing the main display and cover of the port point is uncomfortable.

this phone is very good and have nice features... my 6131 flip stuck and i cant close no more!!!!!

If i were to give an upgrade to this phone it would have to be the nokia 6267.
Very similar to the 6131 with better camera and better battery life.
You can also look at the nokia 6290 as well.

This is one of THE best Nokia phones I have ever come across in my experience of over 15 phones usaage. The most durable and user-friendly, standard, up to the mark. Bought it, using it, loving it.

I own this phone and as others have complained too it has a button freezing and switching off problem which starts just after the waranty expires.its paint scratches off.and is dificult to repair.but its excelent for its price

This is the most beautiful phone ever made. Great display, big keys, button to answer with one hand... I have it for 15 months and it works just perfectly. I accidently dropped it several times and nothing happened. It`s undestroyable :)This is the best phone I have ever had.

Will stay with Nokia as I do like thier products and have since 1996.

I have owned nokia phones all my life and loved every one of them, but this is by far the worse phone I have ever had. I have had 3 identical phones now and every one of them was horrible, stay away from this particular phone and go with anything else from nokia, TRUST ME!!!

I have to open the phone twice to get it to start. It shuts down if I try to send a picture. It freezes from time to time and I have to take battery out and start again. The battery does not last long if you are using the phone - Photos - esp. those taken at night have very poor quality. I am not happy with the phone.

hello every body!! i have this phone now since 6 month...and he is a very good phone..easy to use and fun with special button..good screen...high qualite of sound...nice design....but one bad think ..is the camera..just 1.3 mpx :(
but it s okey i use nokia 6131 and nokia 6230i
i like them...best for me!!

i found this phone easy to use, great size buttons makes texting a breeze. i really loved it. BUT. after about 12 months (just after warranty, hah), it now stuffed up. turns on and off by itself- without me pressing anything, buttons freeze, screen freezes.
took it in to be fixed and apparently it's quite a common problem with the 6131.
its a shame cuz i quite liked this phone, but it's unreliable. horrible.

i've had this phone since september 07, though i gave up using it like a month into it, reasons being:
battery life SUCKS
music player SUCKS
opening mechanims SUCKS
build quality SUCKS
probably due to my liking of playing music, it rinsed the battery, but never-the-less, the music player is really bad.
the opening mechanism is just a gimmick, there's no point in using it at all.
the flip and joints are lousy, they wobble.
however, the phone does have good points:
good screen resolution.
loud speaker.
big keys.
im now back to using my old trusty W800i. haha. seriously, dont bother buying the 6131, its not worth it.

i have this phone.its problems are:
1.paint scratches off
2.u cant find jackets,hard covers or leather covers easily
3.if the screen breaks its a BIG problem.its hard to fix this

i have this phone, have for about a year, really like it. the camera on mine really sucks though, its got lots of lines on the images... but i possibly just got a dud!

i bought this phne a yr back but now it switches off quite frequently for no reason.i use a 1gb mmry card on it,i think this is the problem but apparently it can support up to 2gb memory!!the paint has totally scratched off,in tube light images are very unclear...the battry dies too quick.
i have another prob,for the mini screen screensaver theres a time out but i dunt want tht time out,i dunt knw how to put the time out thing off and let the screensaver on always.anyone help me!!!
