To vignesh--yeah , u can access all the websites like yahoo , rediff , gmail and other websites..whats more ? These websites appear same as how thy appear in desktop...coz 6131 has got a fantastic web browser , and u can browse most of the sites in ur mobile itself..njoy with ur 6131...cheers !

I've been using this fone for the last 20 days & i'm very happy with it. But when the fold is open & I do not touch the keypad after seconds the display will turn to all black without any digital clock. Is this common with this fone??? Can someone answer me please???

Hey I have only had the use of my nokia 6131 for couple months since i change the phone code and cannot remember it is there a way to reset this.

Hi All
I've had this phone for abt 4 or 5 months and it was working fine except I cldn't make or recieve calls easily I kept on getting error msgs and when I was finally able to make a call I cld only hear the other person intermittently sent it in to be repaired and that was a complete disaster my service provider only upgraded the software didn't bother to check my antenna or signal recpetion and dmaaged the phone while they were about it so pissed off about it

i got dis phon 4 my duaghter, lasted less dan 4 mnths b4 screen went blank - sim rejected an she kept getting error msg. no longer works - bought outright for $400 - feeln v.ripd off. hav read of others complaints pls adv if anyone managed to fix prob.

i think is a good cell... good camera, good screen, good mp3 player, good reception.
this cell doesn't have flash and that is the only negative thing for this cell.

Anyways is there new nokia fones that provide sd slot not micro card.

To james11-- GO ahead and buy ur nokia 6131..u wont regret...but the only drawback is , u cant install 3rd party softwares ( .sis files ).....apart frm that , nokia 6131 rocks....njoy !

To khaled-- NO. u cannot rewing or fast forward a video...it is not supported by 6131...i even tried by installing a third party software , but unfortunately , even then , i could not rewind or fast forward any of the videos....

To bonker-- yeah , 6131 supports multi tasking....while listening to music ( only in music player, not in gallery ) , u can browse the internet or send messages....the phone does not gets slow , nor it gets hanged...it supports multitasking very easily without any problems . But , u cannot navigate between the 2 tasks ( for example , while browsing , u cannot switch between music player and browser , until and unless u close any one among them...) apart frm that , no problems are faced....cheers !

To bonker-- yes , the phone can play mp3 songs when the flip is closed.....and , regarding the loudness , it is very loud....but , when the volume is increased to maximum ( 10 ) , the clarity decreases....if u keep the volume at 7 or 8 , the volume as well as the clarity is very high...enjoy with ur 6131...!

Hi guys!
I bought this fone for around 9 days, and last night after I used loudspeaker in the morning, in the evening when I was talking without speaking, the sound quality seems to have changed.
It's as if the other person is talking very far away from their (which was not the change). And sometimes even have echo.
Does it happen with anyone else?? are there any ways to fix it?? PLEASE help!
I"m thinking of brining back to NOkia support cente...can anyone help??

just fine a song and OPTIONS > use tone > set as message alert tone.
similarly, you could go to settings > tones > (and select a tone from there)
