for mine, i can use my music as ringtones and also just press BACK when you're in the music player . it doesnt stop unless you press stop in the player

for example. i cant pass tones,songs and more from sony ericsons, or motorola to my nokia 6131. it says that the conection failed.

There shouldnt be anything wrong with the bluetooth. Motorola phones are a bit slow recognising the names of other phones and everything but other than that the connectivity should work fine.

I think you used the navigation keys to fast forward or rewind the videos. Just have to hold them down for a while.
Thats very wierd not connecting to motorola phones.

A couple of Questions
1) IS this fone worth buying 4 AUD$199?
2) is the MP3 player very loud and can the fone play songs while it is closed?
3) Can this fone multitask? eg read a text message while u listen to songs?

Hi,
To all you folks that can't connect your Nokia 6131 to Motorola,you have to be doing something wrong, I have a Motorola V195 and I transfer sounds and pictures to my Nokia 6131 all the time.
This Nokia 6131 is just what I'll call a great phone.

i got problem with this handphone..
its support mp4 video right?

this phone is actually not that bad, i work with phones every day (repairs) and if you look at the stats this is one of the phones with the fewest problems, battery life i dont agree with most of the people bcoz the battery life depends on the user charge your battery correctly from the start and you wont have problems, camera use your dogital cam that is what its there for?? bluetooth i agree mine is also not connecting to motorolla's. you are welcome to try any N series and youll have more problems than what you can imagine... i give this phone 9 out of 10. really this is not a bad phone

I also noticed that connection flaw, I cant connect w/Motorola fones, I could only add one Moto fone to my bluetooth list but I cant send anything or receive

I used to be an SE fan so I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this phone in Feb. I was relieved to see that I could learn how to handle and use it quickly and I liked the UI, sooo I was really happy with my phone until I started noticing some things, like:
* the soft touch skin has begun to peel off bit by bit
* the chrome lining has also begun to scratch becuz of the constant opening and closing, besides being left with many fingerprint marks
* and I think what really bothers me the most is that I can never wipe entirely clean the screen cuz it's a bit sunken and the borders and corners accumulate all the dust
* sometimes the screen goes blank for like 2 secs and then returns to normal
hehe, other than that I guess it's good, I like the wide keys cuz it makes it easier to text and the sound quality is good enough for me (and I like to listen to music a lot)
My suggestion: if you take extra-care of your things, then you should have less problems

I have been using this phone for almost yr now. its a great phone. its true the phone battery is poor, but apart from that everything is great.
i love the looks. the camera is better than most of the phones

I bought it yesterday and I love it so much.
I like it becouse you just push a button and you can answer like that to calls.
I like it couse it has secondary external Mini Display.
Buy this!!!!!

It is an amazing phone with really good features. The music player is great once you get used to it and the camera is better than most cell phones have. The only problem was that it has very porr battery life. I had to return the phone in the end because I was only getting 5 or 6 hours of battery on a full charge. A great phone for someone who wants the features and doesnt talk a lot or has a charger available most of the time.
