The phone works well. However, although the battery advertised to last 10 days in stand by mode, it only last 12 hours. Nokia has not responded to my query although the phone was bought only on August 26, 2007

this fone is very very good in all the ways as: volume of music,quality of videos,camera is so so.battery back up is not bad. i am using this phone since 14 months and continued 3.30 hrs on its internet.
main problem is this there is no any option to fast forward\reverse music and videos in media player.
can anybody guide me how can i install such as player,so that music and video can fast forward\reverse.THANKS in ADVANCE.

i just bought this phone and i want to return it because the battery life is ridiculous
this phone spends more time in the charger than in use

bought this phone and had been using it for 10 months already. a totally awsome phone. love it alot. especially the flip function which few new phones have. but those who are planning to buy it, be aware of something. 1.3 megapixel camera don really allow you to take pics at night. and listening mp3 with it, means charging the battery everyday. if its ok with these 2 points, it is definitely the best buy

i think this phone is soo pretty!i adore this phone when i first saw it on the mall..now,i'm planning to buy it..but sometimes i'm afraid because of the comment you've put a while ago..still,i want to have this phone..

Nokia Specification states that 6131's talk time is 3 hours. I believe this is not correct and provides wrong information to the users. Sales of Nokia phone will tell you that it will last for 1 hour (actual talk time) due to the super good display resolution. My personal experience, by timing the talk time, is about 1 hour. My opinion is that one hour is no good for mobile phone. I even bought a spare battery to overcome this defect because it is inconvenient and difficult to find charging station in the street, when you are out. I suggest Nokia to review this deficiency and study how this problem can be overcome, by introducing a more durable battery for this particular "super good display resolution" feature. To conclude, I am deciding to change another mobile phone though I have used 6131 for a few months.

Some questions here, will the phone automatically answers the call right after the clam shell has been flipped open? any function to turn that off if I don't want it to auto answer after flip open?

i have this phone. i dont understand why people are saying the battery is poor, all you need to do is charge for a whole day the first time you get it and itll be fine, i did that and it lasts ans average of 2 days. although the camera in the phone isnt to flash. its alright but i wouldnt get it again if i could.

I have the Nokia 6131 and it work great for about two weeks. Then the screen went blank now and again the speaker is very low. The camera is showing me camera on standby, it ask if want to proceeded when click continue it stays a while then comes back saying "Operation Failed ". Can anyone assist me with this problem.
I have no pictures or sound save on the phone. So what can it be.

I found the locker too weak. sometimes I need to shut the top display even hard to close it. depends on its' day. also went blank many times, also difficult to search contact and dial, also loosing charge to often. but i like this phone anyway

just got this phone two days ago. I love everything about it sooooo wonderful. What i love must is the radio it has, that way am able to listen to news and music on our christian station here in F/town, Sierra Leone while am at work.

very poor phone!
I bought it for nearly one year. The battery can last only one day even I do not have any phone. The lasting time is still so poor after I changed a new battery.
