just got this phone 2 days ago.. it is awesome... very stylish,, so many features all paked in 1 + bluetooth + radio..u cant really ask 4 more.. not 2 sure bout its durability yet but so far so gud.

Anybody having trouble receiving text messages with this phone???!???! I can send them, just cant reeceive any!

Hi All.
I from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My Nokia 6131 was upgraded to Version 6.10, This Week.
So Resolved too many problems (bad audio, auto off mini screen, bluetooth, UI enhanced with more speed, and so one...).
Camara still bad (noise and color distortion).
RESUME: 6.10 is ready today.
Came on!
UPGRADE your Nokia 6131 now.

Thinking of buying this phone.
I have a few questions:
-Is the phone too heavy?
-Camera have effects i.e. black and white?
-Any slow reactions, moving around the menu?
-Can you listen to music & do something else at the same time?

Hey. I was just wondering, when you close the phone, does it return back to the main menu when you open it again? Or does it remain on the same programme you were using when you shut it (like the panasonic vs2 does)?
Please let me know, this is a very important feature to me!

Gotta be the best cheap phone on the market, has the same screen as the new Nokia 6300....16M, looks great!

1.does dnokia 6131 come already installed with mem card or it has2b bought.
2.Seems defect complaints r less frequent unlike be4. Shld I b more cnfident 2buy d 6131. Really addictive!

Does anyone know how to work the mms for this phone? I got the settings from my network provider but I'm still not able to send/receive mms messaging? Are there settings I'm overlooking...?

This is an xtremely good phone as it has really good features and does not cost too much. The only thing is that as the screens are of such high quality the battery doesn't last too long. Other than that its a really good fone and I'd recommend it to everyone

I've just purchased my Nokia 6131 for $299AU. I must admit that this phone is quite cheap for the great features it comes with. Knowing that with the 16 millions colours i never thought that it would be so clear. I have had quite a few phones but this phone tops them all. I love the Nokia menu, its so simple to use. I haven't had problems with the battery yet but if it does become a problem then thats easily fixed... just get a 2nd battery. I've already set up everything on my phone including ringtones (MP3), images, memory card and using bluetooth. So far so good! But i guess everyone has their own opinion which i respect. Overall i think that this is a Fantastic phone!

Helo,could anyone pls tell me how to transfer my music files to the nokia 6131 using the cable?? i tried and it says tranfering data but took soooo long and did not save anything! doubt if it transferred any music!help me plsss... thx!
