in the uk the o2 mobile network phones are open to all network, they do not lock them like the other networks

Hi can anybody answer this for me. If I was to buy one of these phones that was locked to 02 uk. Would it still work in Ireland with the irish 02.

does this phone leave marks on the screen from the buttons when it gets open and closed and open........etc please let me know

Hi can anyone tell me if the volume is loud on this phone.I love phones with good strong sounds on them.Thinking of buying one but I already have the 6270 so if its as loud as my one than I will buy it straight away and also how long does the back light stay on for.Its these little things that make the difference to me when buying a phone.

1. Can you set an mp3/aac song as your ringtone?
2. What video types (3gp, mpeg4) can be played on the phone and what bit rate should be used when converted?

I think it's a great phone except one thing - voice dialling. It seems to have an automatic voice input which has a wierd accent and i just can't figure out how to put my voice on the contact names. Nokia doesn't answer to my emails about this problem, so if anyone out there can help I'd be grateful. Please write to me on my email address. Thanks.

But you can buy memory for this one. I have this phone, whith 1 GB memory card. I can use very much, take a lot of photos, whithout problems. It´s a greay phone.

Well, the design is great but its a mediocre cell phone, it has only 10 MB of memory but can use a micro sd up to 2 GB. The music doesnt sound too good. ABout videos it only plays 3gp videos and have problems with it. I changes my samsung sph-i550 for this cell phone plus 50 USD and now I regret a lot on some aspects.
PROs:
- good screen quality
- good camera quality and zom quality and light
- radio
-play flash animations and programs
Cons:
- not all 3gp videos work.
- too bad camera wuality with a bit of darkness
- no flash for camera
- the external LCD doent allow you to see easily the hour for the backlight (almost none).
recomendations: Dont buy it if you can get something better. A samsung d900 its much better at the same price.

Im thinking of getting this phone but ive heard it doesnt have very much memory. If u use only the camera and if i download images via bluetooth onto the phone, how much will it take before it gets full? Im not planning on having any songs on it.
On the front screen, does the wallpaper stay on while the phone isnt in use?

LCD display is stunning.But camera is medium quality.Other all features are good. I connect it with my PC via blue tooth.It is not for you if you need a high quality camera.

Peoples... If you want see photos of my celular about change my battery BL-5C for input in this phone 6131, ask me by e-mail. I put this battery BL-5C in this phone for change that BL-4C. It´s gain turn round one day. It´s 40% of more the power.
Now, bad notice if you has "suor". This phone, turn round of main screen, have a black pelicula or plastic. I don´t know this term in english (suor), but this plastic black goes out. It isn´t a paint or black piece. It´s plastic vinil, and keep or leave if this side is wash. i´m sorry, but i can´t explane better... But, this is very important, but the water body can damage this phone if enter the device.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
Whenever I try to charge my 6131 while (for whatever reason) the phone is OFF, I get the word "local mode" on the outside screen, but it does not charge. Not only that, once this word comes on the screen, the phone will not even turn on anymore. It stays frozen like that until I remove the SIM card and put it back in again. Once I do this, the phone will accept charging whether it is on or off whithout problems. I took the phone to the Nokia service centre, but they did not know what that word meant. They simply downloaded "new" software on it and gave it back to me. The problem disappeared for a few weeks but now it is back again.
Is anyone having this problem, or does anyone know what it means or how it can be solved?
