Hi guys.
I'd like to know
a) how to change the software version from 3.7 to 5.5 or better one
b) what to do in order to the battery takes power longer.
Could anyone help me? Please, write some advice how to do it. Thanks a lot!

Do you guys know if I open the flip without pushing the button breaks anything??? Can I do that or it's dangerous???

I have this phone since january, its a very cool phone, Im very happy, but l dont know how to conect it via bluetooth with motorola phones... can anyone tell me how to do it???

battery only last 2 days with normal text's & calling, not using mp3 player! yes it does take a memory card

its a great phone i have it for like 6 months and i am very happy with its performance the only problem that my firmware have is that it cant connect by bluettoth with motorola phones but now i know how to fix it so i'm happy at all

i was wondering if this phone battery last's long using the mp3. And if there is a slot for a memory card.Do you guys recommend this phone

HI again, i would to say zat whoever purchases zis fone, zey must charge it 24 hrs before use, or else it will become a real headache.the skin falls apart, coz u dont kno how to use it. zis fone must be taken care of like a beautiful gal, which needs care.im using mine for 7 months and till now no problem.so dudes, take gud care of ur fone. 4 further information, plz do not hesitate to contact me.

I bought this phone based on the review and comments, plus I am Nokia fan. The phone is great, the cons are proven. However, my disapointment is that the thin coating on the phone started to peel or strip within 2 weeks.

Got this phone a couple days ago but had to return it coz the speaker didnt work at all. Apart from that its a pretty kool phone the only downer is that it didnt come with a memory card, i would encourage anyone who like simple easy to understand stuff to buy this phone

I really like this phone.
Ive had it since december..And its working quite well.
I actually won it.
Its sleek..
I advice you should buy this phone.But the battery cant be improved.
And + when i won it i didnt recieve a memory card.

I like the phone very much with the exception of battery life. I too, am experiencing only a one day charge rate which makes me dependent on being near a charger at all times. Wish I had read these reviews prior to purchase.

I've had the 6131 for about a month now and it been a great. I really like the button feature to flip it open. Works great, hope it will last. If you like colorful pictures and loud sound this is a perfect phone. I know people I couldn't hear with my old 6102, but with this phone it's no longer an issue. The screen is amazing...it almost looks like a mini laptop. If are creative you can download the Nokia Series 40 theme software and make your own themes. That's been fun. This phone is very customizeable (if that word exists). You can set the time for your screensaver to time out on both the main and mini display. And for those that don't like to lock the keypad, like me, your worries are over. You can actually set the Automatic keygard to activate when you want. And that's nice when the clamshell is closed, so no more activating the camera accidentally. The keyguard feature unlocks when you press the flip open button for easy access. The media player is also very cool along with the Radio. If you forget your iPod, no problem, just plug in the headset provided with the phone and your good to go. Be sure to also download the Nokia software which makes all the multimedia features possible. All in all this phone has been worth the investment and much more.

Bought this phone last week and I just love it. Its just brill but just one drawback. Why on earth didnt nokia make a stronger battery for this wonderful phone.I am hoping its because the battery is new and that after a while I will get a bit longer from it.

i have had a 6131 & 6233 in the last year.
6131. battery only lasted 1 day thats without playing music, camera only 1.3meg, i think its tinney when listening to your caller, dropped twice & got 2 parts broken off.
6233. battery lasted 3 days, 2 meg camera, loud on ringing, dropped & never got any broken bits.

This phone is awesome. Nokia hit a home run with this one.
The headphones are included so listening to mp3s are great.
The speaker is plenty loud. It syncs beautifully with Outlook via Nokia software AND Bluetooth connection.
I love downloading mp3s, themes and basic files to the phone from my computer via Bluetooth. Even to the memory card in the phone. Way cool.
No marks on the screen from the keys btw.
I honestly can't find a single gripe about it b/c I've dropped it at least 20 times and it's still kicking.
Purchased August, 2006 and it's May 1, 2007.
I will DEFINITELY buy Nokia again.
