Cool phone, excelent screen, real bad Megapixel camera (the noise, the lines, the colour defect.) built in memory is awful. Construction not sturdy, creaks after ahwhile. Keypad is excelent. Aukward speaker location.
Good for; SMS/EMS/MMS, Music (from earphones only), Data recording.
Dont use for; Pictures and Videos (capture).
Battery is real bad.

Peoples... About the battery, i send e-mail..
Josh... This phone 6131 have a litlle troble. Versions of firmware last 5.4 have problem with phone motorolas using bluetooth. for example, my version is 3.70 and don´t sincronize with motorolaas phones. Only the version 5.5 and new´s that don´t have thisis troubles. You can verify your version accessing your phone in configuration/cellular/actualizattion of cellular/details of cellular (this menu´s is my version, and brasilian version).
I think, if all peoples send e-mail to NOKIA requesting actualization version of ours phones, because the version 5.5 is more fast and terminate this problem with motorolas phones. I yet send e-mail to nokia, but brazilian nokia don´t have this actualization of version... This is very bad...

hello peoplez i just got this fone and i have to say... i love it! and the batery on mine is great it lasts about 3 to 4 days, and the ease of operation is great! ut i only have 1 complaint, why cant you send stuff to motorolas thru bluetooth?? if any 1 can help me with my delemer that would be great!

Hi, i work @ nokia and this is the best phone in years it beats w300,w600,w800,v3,u6 and its cheaper some phones, thebattery enhances it´s peformance with the time (li-ion) the real mistake in this phone its the poor night mode camera bye

I ve not yet bought it, i would like to get some info on the camera and the mp3 player. They say there is no playlist feature in the player. Is the image clarity of the Camera good? (After all it is a 16M color display with high resolution) Fill me in......

I can send by e-mail, photos of cellular and the battery. Send-me e-mail and i will return with photos... For me, it´s very good power and lifetime for 6131. And i use the plastic cover, that help the "no show" little stuf teh back cover...
I´m sorry, my english is not good (i´m a braziliam). Don´t care, i can send the all photos completely about the cellular and the battery. bye.

Vitor, Chao, Ananda, Wendy... and all peoples...
I resolve this problem of battery changing the model of battery: I change the BL-4C for a new BL-5C. Do you have that cut parts of this battery (side terminals) for that insert the case of battery in the 6131. My phone with the BL-4C during 2,5 days. Now, using BL-5C is during 3,5 days (gain in 40%).
Tha back case do a little stuff but isn´t bad. For more power of battery, this is very good idea. For me, it´s very good really!!

My name is vitor and I would like to know which is the maximum capacity of the card personal computer sd that the cellular 6131 accept.
I have a card of 1Gb more east no this being enough, and he/she would like to buy one of 2 Gb before I need to know the 6131 accepts.

I always like Nokias and the 6131 is not too bad but the battery is just a crap two days the most, can some one tell me please if is a better battery that last longer than the one that it came with.

i have had this phone for about 4 months and
the battery is crap, it goes flat anywhere
between a day and three days and i am lucky if i use it once a day.

its ok no problem, i got my problem solved, actually whenever i switch to different station external display never shows the station name, but now i know wat was the problem, if i hide clock and date then it shows the station otherwise it doesn't. anyways thanks.

Sorry, I didn't understood your question... :S
seems like the only thing that is showed in the external screen is the last station that we were in the Radio Menu. However, the mp3's songs names does changes while we change the songs.
