the phone doesnt let me use an mp3 as a tone i have to convert it to a wav. file unless it's because of the size of the file

thanks for your reply, but tell me the settings because when i close the flip the name of radio station appears for once, it never shows whenever i change the station as it shoud. your reply will be highly appreciated. thanks

I bought this phone a month ago.It is a great phone for this price.Mp3 player is good,spetially for high bit rated songs.Camera is not bad under day light but real dad at night.To me its main feature is 24 bit colour high resulation display,but it has a great drawback also.Main display doesn't have any protective glass on it.So a scratch on the display may cause its failure.Also it is not easy to clean the display.I will suggest this phone if you are ready to handle it with great care & dirty display doesn't bother you.Apart from these a great phone at this price.

to insert memory card just take off the back and insert it in the slot on the right

this phone is really kool. It has a really good quality screen and music playbac is good through the earphones included with the phone. The only bad thing is that the bateery doesn't last very log as the screens are such high quality. And about the Mp3 ringtone question all you do is scroll to the music file is gallery, press options,then use tone and set as ringtone.

Can anyone advise me re pc suite which i have loaded the latest version.
i cannot get my camera to connect,keep getting message 'hardware not isnstalled because wizard couldn't find software?... has anybody experienced this before if so what should i do? support don't seem to have the answer...

Although i own the 6131 i would rather have the 5300 for it's better mp3 player and maybe, since it doesn't have 2 displays, for it's battery lifetime.

not many fones are good at taking fotos in low light ie even my n80 but this has no flash but does i fine attempt in low light,,,this is a good general snapper & is full of features like a scientific calculater for eg ,,,a very desirable handset and as there are minimal clamshells on the market this 6131 is qite well equipped & near the top with big 16 million clour display

Just got a Nokia 6131 has a big screen which is good but i don't like the green colour when taking fotos, is that how it is? are there better background for this phone? and ring tones?

The green lines when the light is bad, it´s normal for 6131. The night´s photos is the bad quality on this 6131.

The troubles in main and external display is two thinks: problema in your phone or the version of your phone is old (the 3.7 and the news don´t has this problem).

I resolve this problem of battery changing the model of battery: I change the BL-4C for a new BL-5C. Do you have that cut parts of this battery (side terminals) for that insert the case of battery in the 6131. My phone with the BL-4C during 2,5 days. Now, using BL-5C is during 3,5 days (gain in 40%).

Why does my nokia 6131 not clear when taking pictures inside a room even though i'm using its night mode, dark areas in the outcome pictures have bright green lines on it, is it normal or not?
