question I have is my phone the only one that seems to have this problem? When ever I try to use the bluetooth with motorloa it will not pass any info., but sometimes with sony ecerison and other nokias it will work sometimes and sometimes it will not. Does anyone have a clue whats wrong

im getting this phone and well, i jsut have one question. does it come with a memory stick. if so, how much memory?

Tingster4,when u change theme the rihging tone changes automatically cause each theme has a predefined tone.U can change it by installing your own tone after installing theme,it is as easy as that.

hi everyone. am really confused here and would appreciate some help. Why is everyone complaining about the battery life on this phone while compared to others the 240hr stand-by time seems ok? IS IT REALLY THAT BAD?? Am trying to figure out which phone I should buy between this one and motorola V3x(which has a batt stand by time of 250hrs but less features) and so far only the battery would detter me from getting the nokia. so please help

Granted it has a short battery life most phones do now. When a phone has endless functions(even when not used) the battery life diminishes far quicker. I used to have a 7610 where i got up to 3 and a half weeks standby time, as far as I know no other phone with those functions has a battery life like it.
I work in a phone store and any of the new phones that come in...N80, N95 6131, k800i any of the high end phones have short battery life.

I think i had this problem some months ago... Try removing the sim and the battery... If not, put the sim in another phone ;)

Hi there, i am a Nokia 6131 user from Greece and i have a problem and need your opinion..There was a failed outgoing message once..since then i cannot enter the folder to delete it.When i try to go into the outgoing sms folder it says ''action failed try later'' .i don't know what to do plus 2 more failed messages are in so i have 3 that i cannot delete.And in main screen the little arrow in box is always on as if it tries to send sms all time. I can send sms properly but can't access this folder..I ever tried to delete them through the Nokia Pc Suite..It deletes them and then they reappear..!!Any ideas anyone?Thanks a lot

From your statement i see that you don;t have the phone... well... these people are right... the battery lasts 2 days... mine lasts one day since i use it for music, data transfer between pc and mobile via Bluetooth, and, of course, talkink... Buy this phone if you are patient (that's for waiting aprox 2 hours for charging:P)

i've had this phone for 6 months now, i love everybit of it except for the battery life and i just wanted to ask if owners of 6131 also experience what i go through everytime i change my themes my tones changes to the default tones also, is there a way to fix that or that's just the way the fon is. thanks

i got this phone since october 2006 and really till now i do not have any problem except its battery it last for 1.5 days with it but i want to know from where to get v5.5

Well, i can see by many of the reviews it's not only MY battery that is dieing quickly! I did as I always do with a new phone...fully charge, then let it discharge right out a couple of times, to let it get it;s full potential (as told in the Nokia manual). But the damn thing has to be recharged every day,and sometimes twice a day. Oh, and Mr. Sarcasm...I am a farmer, and need to be contacted day or night in case any of the animals is in need of a vet! So, yes, I have to have my phone on whilst asleep! Also, the last thing i need when I am stuck out on a windy mountain with a sick animal, is my phone dieing on me before i can get hold of said Vet! My other problem with this phone is that it doesn't appear to have a way of sending pictures to email addresses...not that the camera is much good anyway. Also, when I send texts, half the time they don't get to their destination for hours, then they all arrive at once, and the same with ones sent TO me.
I love the design of this phone, but for now i have gone back to my faithful old 6101, because it does the job! It has the same battery as the 6131, and yet it lasts for four or five days before it needs recharging. Go figure!

I agree the battery is TERRIBLE, so I would highly appreciate if you tell me how and where to get those 'additional options for saving power' and how to upgrade to V5.50.???

It's absolutely stunning! For those of you that complained about the sensitivity about the camera button, either you haven't heard of "Automatic Keyguard" [Set it for 5 seconds]or you're extremely clueless! As for the battery, I agree about the short-lived time, however, on purchasing the phone you should have received a charger. Use it! DUH! I highly doubt you use you phone while sleeping, unless you have some unique talent that nobody knows about, so charge it as you go to bed, and VOILA, problemo solved! WOW! you're probably thinking I'm an absolute genius, maybe I am, but it is common sense really. I have absolutely no complaints about the Nokia 6131.

Hello there i just have buy this phone a week ago and every thing is o.k. but the only one problems is the life of battery I have to charge every day some time 2 time day night. I just use for call (30 min) never play or listen music! Pleas someone to help me how to solve this problem

Sow far so good. I'm only worried about battery. It can indure for 3 day's with additional options for saveing power. That mean's with display. For beter use upgrade to V5.50.

this is a nice product but the disign of opening mechanism is not well done.the up side scruches the lower side of the phone
