I have had this phone for about a month. So far, all is well. I am a bit scared about the internal display, it looks fragile, but it is very beautiful. The phone is very easy to use. It performs well as a radio and as multimedia reproductor. I sent images through IRDA and Bluetooth, and both were fine. Overall, a nice phone.

Sim.... the old´s posts here, have peoples that have same problems: This 6131 don´t is total compatible with motorolas bluettoth... I think that´s is software compatibility of NOKIA. My motorola L6 is completily compatibility with my nokia 3650 and dongue USB to bluetooth. About scratch, this phone have use the plastic cover for protection´ns case, internal and external. Realy, the battery is very short... and I not have already this phone... I am waiting money of payment of deccember for buy, and i knou thisis problems... btu I don´t have other choice! The same model is motorola V3i, but I don´t like the menu od motorolas. I love nokias phone! the 6125 is other choice, but don´t have the display 16 million colours... well... I will have that´s carge all day the battery this future phone!!! If do you sale-me your phone!!! of corse, the very little money for me!!! thanks!!! :)))

julie: How much do you want sale you phone 6131? If do you do a good price for me..... thanks!!
Francis, Rotchie, Bud: Really, i have see in this comments, that have many peoples that have trobles with this phone above display internal and external. It´s same problems. I question Nokia´s atendments in Brasil, about failure of 6131, and thisis phone are made in Brasil. So, phone made in Brazil (tel-me) don´t have thisis problem. And so, I think that is problem of software of nokia, and I think that the best, is leave to offine and client service of NOKIA to maintenance. this is defect. Have peoples that have this celullar and no have problems. Maybe is version of software or model/version on hardware, or so a number of lot in manufacture.
and I thinking that I buy or not buy this phone... I thinking to buy in december, for my present off crhisrmas!!! Will be this is a very good present for me or a headake of my head! I am waiting more experiences fo this phones of usually! thanks!

Eversince I was a nokia fan. I've had this phone before but now I bought a new N93 model. its cool.. =) ..
Well i would say the design is good, its attractive. Although features are acceptable, one thing i dont like is the battery life, its good for 3 days.

Why nobody talks in the review about the lack o display protection in the main screen?
The colors are great because you are looking aat the display itself, any other cells have aa plastic cover that protect the display of scratches, if you scratch a little the display of the 6131 you´ll have a failure in that area... think

Well, guys, the phone is ok, I think the software is guilty about the battery's life.I charge the battery of my 6131 on my other phone(Nokia 6101)and it last 4 days. So, we have problems with the software. In rest, I'm pleased, except the voice command, it sucks..

My wife's 6131 has problems with the mini display. Has anyone had problems with the mini-display? The wallpaper cannot be set, and the screen saver is upside down! If no screensaver or wallpaper is set, the Nokia logo and hands shaking are upside down! Weird! Symptoms just started happening this week. I tried restoring it to factory settings, still the same problems.
Nokia dealer said software has to be upgraded- but it's no guarrantee that it will solve the problem.
Anyone with this kind of experience?

mauricio. i am not very happy with this phone at all, the battery needs charging every 24 hrs even though i fully charged & run out fully 3 times on purchase. i am going to sell this phone & go for the sony ericsson w850i as this is 1 of the best phones on the market & my husband has it & its excellent, this phone 6131 is not avaliable in the mobile shops here in the uk, can only be brought off nokia website or over the net on contract so i think that tells us the feedback is not great on it for shops not to be selling it, i get a white screen from time to time, when making calls the sound of the ringing is crackle, i really would not advise this mobile to any1, i have only had mine 3 weeks & am very unhappy with it, pay a little bit more & go for a better phone, the only good thing about this phone is the large keypad for texting.

I advise nokia to use Li-Po (Lithium Ion Polymer) batteries in their products instead of Li-On (Lithium- Ion) batteries. It's because of the fact that Li-Po batteries have technnically evolved from Li-on batteries. Li-Po batteries have a higher life/energy discharge rate so they run out of power lesser than Li-on batteries. They also have a 20% higher density rate than Li-on batteries. It can also be changed to any shape(or maybe even size) they like. A 900mAh Li-Po equipped with this phone may increase its life time two fold... just advicing... for mo info about Li-Po batteries, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_ion_polymer_battery
