go to the nokia website & down load the pc suite for free. you can buy a usb cable from ebay for about £7

i had no trouble transferring my music from my nokia 6233 to this 6131 via bluetooth. pair the 2 devices up, on your old phone go to the song you want to send to your 6131, select send via bluetooth, when search has finished select your 6131, your 6131 may ask for you to accept the song from your old phone so press ok, this worked for me with no promlems.

I said in others comments that the 6131 have incompability with somes phones of motorola bluettoth... your other phone is motorola? Do you try send music the PC to 6131? And please, what do you tell me about this phone? Dou you like? The life time battery is very bad? How many days the battery life? Do you think the open button will broken in several use on future? Thanks!!!

It seems like the 6131 does not accept music sent via bluetooth to the phone. Am I doing something wrong? I've tried several times to send cool music files from my other phones to Nokia 6131, but it never seems to work. It always say disconnected, or transfer failed. Why? Does anyone know the problem please?

hi all. I have a question.
how can you see the call duration during call? I want to see how much time I am talking to the phone in real time. is there any other posibility to se the contor, at least after the call. but not the last call or all calls. every call with it's timer. thanks a lot. cheers.

Peoples!! A new phone 6133 is avaiable... infos showing thats the battery life is better than 6131. If the only problema of 6131 is the battery life, is better buy this 6133? the especifications are same... Thanks!!

I've got about 1300 messages in over 1600 parts in the inbox and about 1000 messages in 1200 parts in the sent items =) I would try how many text massages could this phone store and it wouldn't be the end if the memory wasn't full :P

hi,
i brought a new cell.while capturing picture, a white screen is appearing, and after some time it is showing operation failed. then showing camera is in standby.
cam any body help me to set up camera feture with out any fail?

yeah da battery life is pretty short. maximum usage 2 days/. in my opinion i think its very exp... cus i bought in RM about 880.
and nokia 6131 is using micro sd card... so mini sd card is not compatible with tis phone.

the messages storage is base on your phone's memory. there is nothing to do with da memory card. i can store up to 100 messages... but i deleted them after tat so i dunno da wad is da maximum storage.
i got no prob with my external screen, but do hv prob with my internal screen.
u can do it either way, sending files using usb cable or bluetooth. i use 6280's usb cable.
you can turn off da camera shutter.

I want to buy this phone, mas listen thisis relates, i have very questions:
1) - The batery during 2 days is very bad?
2) - The connector of power on phone, is normal that nokia usage?
3) - In Brazil, the price is US 375,00. Isn´t very expensive?
4) - I saw that very peoples having problems with mini-sd card that´s don´t work with this phone. What having?
In resume, only the big problem on this phone is the battery is very short, small, poor. What have that do for this problem? Nothing! Or buy this phone or buy other phone!

i`ve bought this phone today .... it`s awesome ... it`s really cool .... but the camera it`s very week .... iti like a CIF camera ...and the nightmode sucks

Hi all, great to read comments it really helps in making a decision, some questions i have that were already asked but didnt see answered:
-Is the storage of messages a problem, can more than 5 be stored or do you need the additional card, and if you get it will it help message storage? that is my primary use.
-is the black outer screen a common fault for a lot of people?
-to transter music/pics to laptop is it beta to get a nokis usb cable or buy a cheaper bluetooth dongle and send files thru that way? (how many pix does it hold before full?)
-can you turn that annoyin foto click off when you take pix? oh and if i get sent video files can i play them and send them on?

Have been having a few minor problems with the 6131.
The small display would turn off - needed to switch the phone off and back on to get the small display to work. Took it in to the Nokia service centre and they fixed the problem.
However now the small display does not go to screen saver (black with clock) and stays as colour screen.
It is now back at the service centre for the second time to try and repair this problem.

u mean da digital clock tat shown at ur wallpaper at da exterior screen? tat knot be removed... its set as one of da phone functions. so yeah.. sorry cant help it... i dun really like it too. cus it blocks my wallpaper. harz

about da theme, there is nothing u can do about it. once u change ur theme, it changes ur profile. so u hv to modify ur profile again everytime u change your theme.
based on my post earlier... can anyone help me with da black screen thingy??
