What is the version of your firmware?

I've got a question to do with the Mp3 ringtone... I've had this phone for over a week now.
Does anyone find that when you get a call, the ringtone (on max volume) initially starts out kinda quiet, then it suddenly gets louder?
I was just wondering if that's standard.

There will be a sound (if you want it of course- you can change it as well) when you open and close the phone. Giving a sound depends from position of flipp not from using a button or not.

ops... didnt notice u answered my question ored. 10x for ur help. another doubt is... if i flip open d phone manually, will there be sound?? like other phones, when u flip open it.. the phone play sound. kinda enjoy tt. =)

yeah.. the repairman said its due to mess up of d programmes... and this is the 3rd time tt the programme "messed up" itself. annoying! n waste of money

Yes, you can open it in normal way but I don't think you will do it offen becouse you probably get used to this button very fast. Only the sound and movement of the flipp is... strange :)
There shouldn't be any problems playing mpeg4 video as they write it here:

but I haven't try to play them yet.
Video can be played in a fullscreen (there won't be any straps around if it was made in good ratio- 4:3. I mean here the resolution like 320x240 or 160x120)
I don't have such problem with any pictures yet but I've only tried sending them between PC and mobile- don't know how it is between 2 mobiles. I suppose everything will be ok but can check it tomorrow.

Was your problem with W550i not because of software problem?
Because in Indonesia W550i is one from the SE best seller.

You can use both of them- wireless (bluethooth 2.0 to stereo headset) and "normal" one as well .

keypads light up white. Once you like seeing this color, all other keypads/phones you look at doesn't impress.

and does N6131 support mpeg4 video?? can it play video in full screen? i heard tt it knot view a wallpaper sent by bluetooth in fullscreen. isit true??

Does the 6131 support the listening of mp3's through a bluetooth headset or do you need a special wired headset?

There's no problem with it couse of the button on the right side of phone. I've already used to open my N6131 in such way and don't know how it would be if there weren't this button. Really helpfull and comfortable "invention".

is it easy to open the phone with one hand only? while driving it is good when the phone rings it can be open with one hand.

i think i'll get tis nokia 6131. rich color pixels n nokia is more user friendly, everything is better than samsung e770 except 6131 doesnt have flash. hmm im wondering can 6131 do self potrait.. like take picture using the external screen.
ps: i hate sericsson now, i own a W550, n i had so much trouble with it. my friends having sericsson (other model) hving lotsa trouble with their phone too. sericsson sux
