This phone is in competition with Samsung E770 or SE Z550i.
They have not 100% same feature, but I can say similar with plus in one thing and minus in other thing.
You can compare them.

I have the nokia 6131 and i think is one of the best phones we can find.
The unique deffect is that it doesnt have flash.

If I could buy any one phone right now, I'd have to say the Nokia 6131. There is so many features, I can't even count them. 16.7 mil color display, FM radio, iR, mp3 player, etc. This phone just seems to me that it blows the competition out of the water. Maybe not the latest design, but who cares? Anybody have any recommendations besides this phone?

i have this phone for about 4 days and i love it. Memory card supports maximum 1Gb ( i have 256 Mb card ). Sound is great as well as the design. only thing i dislike is baterry life ( around 2 days ).

hey i am using 6131Nokia with 512 memorycard and i think u can use up to 1GB so try it.By the way u have a nice and cute phone.Thanks.

overall the 6131 is a very good phone. have it since a month n like it very much. got no problem at all but one major con is u cannot take pics when the earpiece is plug for radio or mp3...

Can someone attest to have physically played an MP4 video on this phone without it cutting or skipping..?? My nokia 6270 wont play smooth mp4's no matter what bitrate i set it to, it wont play smooth. Just wondering if this 6131 will play it smoothly..?
Also does the bluetooth data transfer have any limits..?? Cause my Nokia 6230 has a limit of 6 mb transfer thru the bluetooth.. SO if i try to transfer a movie over 6 megs, it will stop at 6 megs and cut transmission..

Hey guys, as you all know the battery life for this phone isn't the greatest. It comes with the BL-4C battery which is about 820 mAH. The BL-5C is about 970 mAH. Are these two batteries the same size as in dimentions? If they are then I would consider buying a BL-5C for longer battery life. Please let me know. Thanks

Someone has a problem with the microSD TransFlash? When I transfer some data on it from my PC, the card become unstable - it blocks and acure an error on the PC and after that the Mobile doesn't recognize it.
Any suggestions or s.o. with similar problem? :(
