anyone found a higher capacity battery for this phone? Preferably a 1000 mAH batt that works with it. Been tempted to get this phone but kinda hesitating due to the limited batt capacity.

can anyone tell me how the screen compares with Panasonic VS3? I now own VS3 and the screen is just amazing and soooo bright with 300Cd/m^2. I am just curious if 6131 has at least the same level of brightness and clearness.

            Can anyone help?

Coz i don't want to but a new phone if the screen degrades from my previous one.

The resolution of the pictures taken from nokia 6131 was a bit blurred. You can have a more decent picture by activating the night mode but the color fades a bit. More of a black & white.

Does tis phone has flight mode ?

I've read the review and it says that the mp3 function works without inserting a SIM card , so does that mean flight mode ???

should i get a razr v3i and stick with the 128 memory card or buy a 6131 and shell out extra money for a 512 memory card? barebones, the prices are the same, with the razr v3i coming bundled in with a 128 micro SD. what do you think?

i just bought it from vodafone:D a very cool fone: display=extraordinary, awsome, lovely. design=very nice. mp3player(and videoplayer and radio)=high level of sound, simple but good mp3player(as 6230i). camera= not that good:(..if u want a fone with good camera don't buy this one:D
conclusion: i reccomend this fone, a very nice one:D and a low price(at it's level)

                                  Mini Review Nokia 6131

                                  Good:

                                  1. Very attractive design and quite compact phone.

                                  2. Excellent screens, main screen is big, detailed and very pleasant to look at, external screen is good too.

                                  3. Navigation and overall use of the phone is excellent, doesn´t get better than this. Writing messages is a breeze.

                                  Bad:

                                  1. Battery life is a problem. It´s ok when using just to make phonecalls and writing messages, but as soon as I use the camera, mp3, radio, games and such it drains the battery very fast.

                                  2. Could be a little thinner.

                                  Conlusion:

Excellent phone for users that like me, that needs an attractive phone with a good screen for writing messages and making calls. The weak battery makes the other features more a gimmick as you can´t use these options for a long time.

Just wondering if an owner can tell me how long the battery lasts when solely using it to play MP3's? Also is there any options to reduce the display colours, resolution, quality etc... to extend battery life?

                                      Thanks
