I also have both and experiencing exactly the same problems you describe.
On top of that the bluetooth connection doesn't work with Nokia's own PC Suite (I'm using a PC with Win XP Prof SP3) and the same goes for the Clock\Alarms which change the saved alarm day to the actual one.
It's amazing how people in this and other forums praise this 'piece of bugs' - Either they don't use it or they don't have it - Do a search and you will find an endless list of bugs and problems that Nokia doesn't care to solve or aknoledge, even when several monts have already passed since its release. (I seriously doubt this phone was tested at all - problems and bugs start to appear as soon as you begin to use it. Are we buyers their beta testers?)
Therefore, I'm also returning mine, and still believing that the crappy sound and bluetooth problems are dued to a defective unit... If the second phone turns out to be same, I surelly will switch back to the 'old' 6110 Navigator, which at least with the last firmware update - 6.25 - is almost bug free!
One thing is sure - I have great doubts I will buy Nokia phones anymore!

AB, 01 Dec 2008hi i have a Nokia 6210 navigator, regarding the Navigati... morethere is nothing to do with gprs n airtel live...the phone comes with a 6month free gps service...just press the navigator button n continue finding new routes...thats it..

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2008How is the sound quality of 6210 compared to n816210 nav is louder then n81 at speaker aspect but n81 has clearer sound,and n81 also perform better through headset,but 6210 nav is a overall good phone esp with its navigation performance,thumbs up
p/s:i'm using both nokia maps 2.0 and garmin XT for navigation service

that is why i like dis phone
buy dis instead of nokia n81
it is da shitiest phone on earth bcz ma frnd keeps irritation me wid it

The sound quality of dis phone is so loud but not reali clear but For camera is really nice.

Does this 6210 navigator have Nokia maps or can i use route 66 too? i need a free gps, just like 6110

I love 6210 I soooooooo love it i have realised that i cant live without it infact i was goin to buy 6230 buy i feel that a 6210 is a better version of it and it is just so user friendly and i think that if i loose it i wouldnt mind buying it again i even made sure that i pay a monthly subscription for insurance that is just how much i love it and the photos oh my God i cant stop sharing the memories.

dave, 30 Nov 2008I have had this phone for just a few days and am generally ... moreno its not normal, u will have to wait till they issue a new firmware where u can update ur phone through nokia software updater and it will fix that.
usually happens for new phones. bugs.
