I got this phone today from Virgin mobile Aust. My first impression is that it feels & looks very cheap. I'm charging it up now & i'll let you guys know more of what i think later.

True, Samsung (and LG) have few nice looking (and very thin) models, but considering the price vs. specs of this phone, LG and Samsung have nothing to compete.
5Mpix Carl Zeiss, Xenon-flash, GPS, 15mm thin.
If you scrap GPS, the LG Viewty might be a good option. Don't know about it's photo quality though...
PS. I ordered this phone on Wednesday, should be here by Tuesday.

this phone is excellent, i've been using one all day and it is great. the speaker is extra loud and the screen and camera are great. it is not wifi, to touch the materials used don't feel too cheap although they are not up to the standards set by the 6500 series

Michael, 16 Jun 20086220 Classic has no Wi-fitenx michael..so the specification given by www.letsgomobile.org about the availability of wi-fi (wlan)in nokia 6220 classic is false!!!

At least that 6120c has a metal framing while the 6220c as I see it, it's made of all plastic(I'm not really sure).. But we'll see it for ourselves first.

Well about your question. Hmmm... Not exactly me... moreOh, I see..I'm not much of a fan of big fones like N78 although it's a great piece. 6220c instantly caught my attention when it was first introduced here, similar to the one I got when I saw 6233.
The only issue I'm worried about in the 6220c is the quality of material they used. Some say that Nokia sacrificed the material quality so that it can be priced a bit cheaper for the majority. Having awesome features is great, but if the housing/facia is not that sturdy enough to withstand minor bumps, I think it would be a waste that this fone "might" not last long to protect the inner components from shock. We'll see...on the time its release here then I can give an assesment on the built quality.
