I am amazed at the amount postings in this forum saying "I love Nokia" or Nokia rulz" so what ... stiff shit ... who really cares. This does not describe the benefits or issues of a particular phone. Sounds like you are payed 2 cents from Nokia to post a pro Nokia comment. ie: I like beer - does anyone care - probably not - relevance - none ... get it!

to 6230 boy,
I was referin to the firmware versions 4.28 & 4.43..the earlier versions ie 3.14,3.15,3.17 all had very bad Camera quality when compared to the newer ones..but there are a few niggles with the newer versions..now it as takin longer time for the mobile to save the clicked photos & the video quality has deteriorated...But the improvements are worth the try...
Improvements:
Better still photos,Better Music quality,Better wallpaper quality,Better Anti-aliasing[ the rough edges of pictures seemed to be smoother]..
+ More choices for "Right selection key" (Alarm, Bluetooth, Calculator, Contacts, Timer, Create MMS, E-mail, Gallery, Home, Infrared, Radio, Wallet)
+ More choices for "Go to key", 45 shortcuts to choose from.
+ Unable to delete file bug fixed
+ Memory status displays correct free/used/size for 512MB MMC cards
+ Phone memory (A: ) and MMC card (B: ) are now displayed as two diff drives instead of MMC appearing under Gallery when browsing your phone with Nokia PC Suite.
+ Phone remains silent when using mp3 as ringtone and silent profile has been selected.
+ Better photo quality.
+ Faster java.
+ More stable Bluetooth connection.
+ Switching between headphones and speaker when headphones are connected works now.
+ E-mail client has gotten a face list. Nicer GUI now.
+ Improved beach rally.
+ Sound quality is better with musicplayer
+ Handling of the MMC card also is better.
+ Soundclicks when listening to music writing sms and between songs is now remowed.
+ Music player pause/start leads to skipping bug fixed.
- Memory status displays incorrect free/size for internal memory even though you still have access to all 8MB.[this fixed in v4.43] Nokia PC Suite displays correct values.

Who knows how to do a hard reset on the 6230. mobile is on but screen is white - was told this is a softwareproblem.

To Ho,
the big advantage the K700 has over the 6230 is the screen..K700 has a bigger & smoother screen..But other than that the 6230 has lots goin for it...better contrast in the screen, better Camera quality with the newer Firmware versions,better Mp3 player,Huge Memory with the MMC card,Very easy userinterface..
the bigger will seem a big thing only for a few days if u take the K700..I am sure the 6230 has things which will keep u happier for a longer time..

samsung D500 doesn't have external.. comfirm die... and nokia 6230 does...

Your written English is dreadful. You are also dyslexic, you refer to the 3230 surely you mean the 6230, probably means that you don't even own a 6230. My household owns both the D500 and the 6230, both excellent phones and both brands will have their own fans but having used both I feel well placed to offer a balanced opinion and not just slag off people but since you started it……go FCUK yourself….. as the clothing company might say and at the same time take some English lessons!

Hi .. i bought a Nokia6230 two dayz ago .. I LOVE IT .. it`s small , reliable , radio is best than computers sounds , good life battery , video is good too .. but i didn`t bought yeat a usb cable to transfer from computer to phone .. I really like it and i think u should buy it ! if u don`t trust me .. trust the other guyz\girl that have posted .. BEST PHONE .. good job nokia

lovely phone, got every thing i need.music play has a problem playing mp3 from mmc card.there is no brightness controle for the fone screen.

This phone has everything, great sound, excellent pictures, first rate video, brilliant games, simple ease of use, beautiful looks, quick startup, bluetooth connectivity. Bad luck if you don't have one as it scores 11 out of 10 in every department. BY THE WAY I'M ON ABOUT THE SAMSUNG D500 NOT THE 6230!
