I just bought me one of the best phones from nokia(6230 of course) and i saw it reads on it "made in Hungary". Is this ok? Does Nokia have a factory there ? What do you say ?

6600 eats 6230's dust. Radio, Size, sound quality, picture quality... only problem Bluetooth is very unstable and mp3 has a problem refreshing the tracks. I have 2 6230's and I prefer the older software as it is less problematic.

just in the process of having O2 send this phone as replacement for their Shitty X3 handsets which are too full of bugs to bother with!
Hope the nokia name still stands for quality :) (not had one for few yrs now)

this is the best phone for nokia so far. it looks great, has practically everything in it and is...just wonderful! the camera and reccording is excellent. the games are entertaining and you'll get never ending fun and excitement with the 6230. ill recommend this phone for EVERYONE.

Bad news: many (not all) Nokia 6230 have defect in working with Bluetooth. It is not only Russia-related case, folks from USA reports that it is hard to find normal 6230b (?) there.

Send 10MB-20MB ZIP file from any Bluetooth-equipped PC or notebook through "OBEX file transfer" option in Bluetooth software to 6230, then send it back, then test received ZIP file ("test" command in WinZIP software). If file is OK - my congratulations. If you will met phone silent auto-rebooting during transferring of the file - my pities, your are one of us with defective 6230...
Call to Nokia, post that method into forum, tell your friens who have 6230, and use that trick: play MP3 files or set .3gp videofile onto pause while transferring files over Bluetooth.

This phone is pretty cool... I was always a motorola man until i met this nokia... it is not exactly a head turning phone but it has the features to compensate for its rather conservative looks.

6230 nokia is very good but it has 2 mini problems 1- don't take wav ringtones
2-don't have realone player,so not every video clip works on it
