Hi There can some1 please tell me how to unlock my 6230, i have the dct-4 unlocking cd but it wont unlock 6230 can any1 help me an if so then can i do it with my unlock cd.

Yes, it has a voice recorder and yes you can set it as a ringtone as also you can set Mp3s as ringtones...

Hi i want to ask That people witch r using 6230.Nokia 6230 has Voice Recorder? This is working or not if in this phone has this option then we can set voice as a ring tone ?

hi anybody, I'm a user of DiGi and when i activate the service for GPRS and MMS, the service provider(DIGI) sent me the connection settings that are undeletetable or even worse, uneditable. Is there any way to remove the connection settings? Plz help. Its(DiGi) bringing treat to my phone.

Hi All, Ive had thephone sometime im happy with it but want to unlock it from t mobile i have the dct4 unlocking cd which i have unlocked evey other nokia ive tried no probs like the 3220 6610i etc but i cant unlock my 6230 or my sisters 6230 which is on voda, dose anyone no why this is an how i can do it using the dct4 unlocking cd. can it be done mail me goldiedarren@hotmail.com

Oh yeah! I got this phone and it rules. Its very small, good fitted for young ppl like you. Tons of features, camera, video, mp3 and stereo fm. It costs around 480 dollars in sweden. The phone as i said has lots of features but they are not of the best quality. This is a phone for ppl in need of alot of multimedia but not with perfect quality. Camera is vga quality. video is four minutes long. Mp3 is excellent in the small speaker and the stereo fm is the usual nokia style. Buy it, it surely beets the 7600.

you have to use the Nokia PC Suite to convert your CDs to nokia AAC... take note that ipod AAC is different from the one nokia uses, something to do with the encoding... i dont any site that is specific for nokia AAC, but any MP3 that u have or u can DL should work...
buy ORIGINAL HS-3, dont buy those 3rd party headsets, cheap 3rd party ones wont last long... and u r welcome

Friendbrain, any advise for music sources? Itunes and metrotunes have other formats. Can I somehow put CD's onto the phone as well? Thanks so much, I am happy that I came across this forum...

Thanks friedbrains! on the headset: actually, the HS 3 is the other one I just bought (just couldn't think of the number earlier). But that one's micro is very bad (besides its white and looks cheap, but I could get a black version of it.).

dont get confused, SD cards will never work with the 6230 only MMC and RS-MMC with the metal adapter will work with the 6230

STEREO FM RADIO is available and working fine with up to 20 preset stations, you can just push the call button on the headset to change stations

buy the original nokia HS-3 it is better than the HDS-3, HS-3 is the one that came with the 7200 the square flip phone of nokia, not only that the black one blends well with the 6230 graphite
MP3 and AAC files are supported by the 6230 music player

Scrappy82: Just an idea: Maybe your new MMC is simply not compatible? I just bought on off ebay and it did not work. I could put nothing on it, although it displayed so therefore recognized it on the phone as well as on the PC, when its connected. It never worked. I connector the seller and meanwhile it turned out he sent me indeed one which is not compatible... Maybe that helps.

Question: does someone know exactly which formats the 6230 "takes". I have trouble finding music in the right format. Any recommodations for websites with the right format? --- On another subject: The headset coming with the phone -HDS 3- is absolut c.... I have the 3rd meanwhile and they are all faulty. The cables are to thin I assume therefore they break easely. Or did I simply have bad luck? I got myself the other headset which is compatible but that one has a very bad micro, which is bad for me because I use it to listen to music and hands free phoning at the same time. Thanks for any support/comments.

it will ask you to delete code and content of wallet, there is no other way to get that code back only to restart over
