To Very Happy User,

I appreciate your opinion. But the thing is we all very concern about what our money have spent for. In the aspect of standby time, Nokia said it can up to 300 hours (I know there is no way to reach it unless you don't use the phone but remain switch on), we really want to know what is the maximum strength of this phone. At least know of this, we can make good use of it.

Buying a spare battery is an option. But understanding the phone power management, we can make full use of the battery and the phone features.

Why everyone is so worry and keeps talking about battery standby time. Just get another one or even two if you need extra power, charge the spare batteries at night before going to sleep or buy a desktop charger base to charge batt separately. If you can afford to buy this excellent 6230 phone and what is so difficult to buy another battery? For me as I have using this 6230 for the past 2 weeks, I did not find any any problem. The software is stable and fast and by the way I can't find a phone that has everything (radio, chinese, camera, video, java, triband, speakerphone, small size, express changable covers, etc...and yet so affordable. Pls don't complain about battery again, you go to try the panasonic x70, the battery and camera
performance, then you will appreciates this beautiful perfect 6230. Thanks.

          CUBE, S'porean?

Anyway, just get the Nokia to check your battery and explain your problem. They should check your phone as well as your battery. I suggest you to bring your charger as well, may be the problem come from the charger.

They should do it for free since you just bought the phone not long ago.

          Regards

I think the standby time is B.S. Misleading information. Can charge them under TPA act Company law....hee ^_^
But...I think it must be totally not using the phone to call and sms lol....therefore can standby until so so so long 300hrs??? hahahaha....
But 2.5days is good enough. I on my bluetooth to bluejack ppl in the MRT and bus lol....also can last me 2.5days.
            hahahaha
And today I kena only one in the bus to camp. HA.

oh, right...the nokia 3310 bombed because the guy using a battery not from Nokia. It happened few times before. So just use the Nokia's original battery will be safe.

SX1 is good but does not support dual lanuages, which is bad.

Sorry Mike, it was CUBE need to change a new phone.

By the way, I am really wondering why the Nokia said this phone's standby time is somewhere between 150-300 hours. I was trying to make the most little use of the phone and it is no where to reach this length of time.

I think the Nokia 6230's power management has some problems.

                              Hello.

I have the 6230 and it is realy good phone.

Mine question is,why say's almost evebody that the MP3 player has a good quality?

I have to say it's not good but average quality and the battery is a little bit poor only 4 hours listen to MP3.

But the Nokia 6230 is a good phone, but only shame for 128x128 pixels,i see almost no differend between 4K and 65K screen from Nokia.

                              Greetings.

a question to all Nokia 6230 owner,

Can you post a message about how long does your battery last after a fully re-charged?

So your data can give the other owner to know whether their battery or the phone has no fault.

mine only last for less than 5 days without playing any mp3, but play little games and limited phone calls.

                                      Thanks

I wouldn't even bother worrying about the camera. If you want a proper high quality camera get a Canon or a Pentax, not these crappy phone cameras. The phone cameras are just 'fun' add-ons, not serious devices.
