to roma,
nokia has cable connector that you need to buy it is not included in the package although if you have infra-red in your computer you can transfer files etc...also you can send default ringtones to other compatible phones.

pearl white color is much better looking than black....does the phone support wav files???

can anybody tellme what kind usb cable used for 6230, can it use mini usb cable? one more..can 6230 send the default ringtones to other phone?

Whatever it is, nokia phones is the most user friendly and don't bother too much about the screen (at least the operator logo can be remove and wallpaper photo can be fully seen but not other brand-usually operator logo block the picture).Most importantly, island wide nokia service centre is easily located. I just went to M1 shop today and bought the original music stand at only S$38 and original price was S$118 at agent and S$115 at shops outside. No need to be M1 customers and I think it's a good buy as the music got the external input for other audio devices and stereo speakers. Value for money, can be use for 6230/7250i/3200/etc. Thanks.

i bought one yesterday and i must say that its amazing, the pic quality when transferred to pc is very good and ringtones are louder than 6610 6100 etc. i think its the best ever. im pretty satisfied with it.

i got this phone yesterday and i think its the best phone nokia have ever made its got so much on it yet its so small,the camera and video are perfect better than 6600 i think sound is perfect mp3 is perfect and the screen is very sharp and very clear but the bad part is 2 hours after i had to take it back because everytime i tried putting the wap,gprs and mms settings in it turned itself off for no reason! so the rumours about problems i read are true but i love this phone so much im getting anotyer one but i been told i got to wait untill 15th or 16th of this month (april) which im not haapy about because this phone really is amazing and everybody who has this phone will be very pleased.

Sorry, I should say SE S700 not K700
K700 does have built-in radio but not S700.

SE P900 only support 128 memory stick, not impressive.
I hope SE K700 will support more memory but it does not have built-in radio.

Though it is officially supported 256 MMC, I bought myself a 512 MMC and it works! good...

To that dumbo below me. That dumbo is not me. And I didn't insulted the 6230. I actually am enjoying it as my old phone was a 6610. Big improvement, but I'm just saying that there is alot of people saying that the 6230 is the very best and it is not the very best. It is above average, but I will not say very best.
To idiot down then, get a life. Why don't you use your 'own' identity rather than using other people's? That's the thing I hate about this site =(
By the way, I am having problems with my 6230 =( Today I noticed the MMC card is not detected! I cannot access it or anything! I sent it back to Nokia and they say they will look into it. Hope it's alright.
To Samuel:
Z600 is cheaper than the 6230 and I heard the K700 is going to be even cheaper. I might sell this phone to my friend and change to that K700 if I can. Only down with that is memory. Other than that, I think it will be nice. Flash, 178x220 pixels screen vs 128x128, brushed metal housing! Hope it is as fast as this.

Sorry as I've insulted this phone earlier by saying that if you guys think Nokia 6230 is a good phone, you should shut up unless you purchase one.
This phone is actually great as it has all excellent functions!

I think by looking the functions, 6230 is better than 6600. 6230 has faster and more advance GPRS, data speed and more functions!

Last time, my N3650's ringtone sound soo soft, therefore I have to turn on the vibrating menu.
Especially whose own this stuff, How about this N6230's polyphonic ring tone. Is it much louder - than N3650 or N6600? since the main function for a Mobile phone, isn't it?

The 6600 is a fat and oddly shaped phone, with a huge screen and a tiny keypad, which makes it awkward to use. The 6230 is rather too small, but better proportioned and nicer looking.
