And another this Klaas this is better sounding than any other device cos its all stereo and u even have a 7 band equaliser in the media section of the menu so even if u dont like what u hear u can change it

now this is what pisses me off why do the sonyericsson fanboys and girls come into the nokia side? its allways the same nokia announce a phone and u lot come in here to slate it, 2 words f*ck off. and for u Klaas u av been saying the same thing since this phone was put up on the website which leads me to believe that u dont have the phone, i do and its better than all past sieries 40 phones (7210 e.t.c)
bet u didnt know that the middle button was now the menu button did u? bet u didnt know that the screen is brighter than the P900's did you? Stop slating this phone or go back to the sonyericsson forum!

Hello...........................if i want to listen to MP3 then buy a real MP3 player or a P800/900,Nokia is no math even the 6230 is not mitten that quality is nothing agains the P800/900 or a real MP3 player.
The quality of signal and voice is excellent from Z600.
What an amusing excuse about the size.
PS the 6230 is totally not smaller than a lighter for that is the K700i. :D

I compare 7250 not with 6230. I mean that they also said that 7250 lake became sold then the T610 what happened not. De T610 became much more sold then the 7250 despite the fact that the 7250 two months before on the market came.
I think that also with the 6230 the same want to happen with the K700i.

How can you compared 6230 with the low-end Z600? do you know Z600 got only 1.5MB storage shared memory compared to 6230 8MB & External comes with 32MB and it is still expandable to 256MB. Screen may be small but you don't expect a big screen on a small phone-not logical, be more realistic. As long the photos can be taken in 640X480 and download to PC is clear & sharp is already a plus not mentioning the bluetooth and so many more fuctions, unlike some phone can only have small pixels and download small photos-no slection of size. In addition, the video can record 4 mins anytime and anywhere on single shot.
To sum up, again what is Z600 compared to 6230 in term of functions and value?
Lastly, I have tried many EXISTING camera phone and so far the best is 6600, E700 & 6230, not only nice at the phone screen but also must also look nice and big on the PC screen. Samsung E700-only good for its camera & polyphonic, other than that not good, 6600 have a big clear screen but lack of radio, chinese, video 10-15secs...Be happy with 6230 and you will love it. Nothing is 100% perfect but again we can choose the best close to it.
Thanks to all reading and I am waiting for new express covers for my 6230.

I can't return it. I'm lock to a 12 months contract with it. While my friend's z600 can't play mp3 or video and menu is not instant, it's an old phone, and for an old phone, it shouldn't be better at anything. The phone is okay and above average, but what I'm getting at is all those users on this opinion area telling me that this phone is the best out the and taht I wont' be dissapointed and all, and well, for being a 'new' and 'best' out there, the first thing people would say to me is, "Is this the new phone? Why the screen looks so old? What can it do, oh video? But the screen so small, what's the use?" and all that...

the 6230 has got a very fast menu. bluetooth works great. screen is just fair. mp3 audio is good.

hi all. got my 6230. was reading through the messages. while i agree with some of you re. the pros and cons. the 6230 is a fully featured phone. its got it all. but isnt outstanding in any respect. ringtones are standard mp3... so no worries. camera is just fair. if you want camera get a sharp, it will blow your mind. all in all i find that the 6230 gives me everything. am not short changed. i do have 1 gripe which am hoping will get resolved. the sound quality is poor compared to my 6510. hope a firware updat will resolve that. anybody with the same problem. once that resolved i cant complain. its all good provided you want a one in all.

can you play mp3 on the z600? what about video? is the z600 menu faster than the 6230? is the RF quality and the voice quality of the z600 better than the 6230? is the z600 smaller and lighter than the 6230?

one more thing, can i transfer files to my laptop or vice versa via infrared without installing the SW included in the package? i learned that some SE fones can do such. pls help, im confused now if im going to buy this fone or buy other else. tnx in advance.

how about transferring of photos and polytones? is it improve already or just like 7250 and other nokia fones where you can only transfer contacts to other fones.

Hi there. I have just purchased this and I would like to say that it's not as good as everyone says it is. It's just an overhyped model. I just got it yesterday because I read this forum mentionin how good this phone was and how some people said SE phones are crap and how the screen and all are alright such as Finnish.
First, I would like to say. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED THIS PHONE, PLEASE DO NOT SAY IT IS VERY GOOD AND ALL THOSE SHIT LOADS OF CRAP.
It is only average. Screen is too tiny! It looks like crap next to my friend's Z600 which is very emberassing as the Z600 is such an old phone! Functions are ok only. Nothing 'fantastic' and the menu looks exactly the same as my old phone 6610! Except for icon. Again, looking at my friend's Z600, her menu looks so nice. While mine is animated, the colours in the Z600 are better.
Function is only so so. MMS has limits again and is not as good as SE phones.
I am very dissapointed with all those people saying this phone very good.

Does the phone comes in the Graphite cover in Singapore? All i see was the silver version... which doesn't look that great. Do u all have any idea how i can get the Graphite cover?
