Yeah, this phone is so speedy, more than my 6682 with S60 an so light and pocketable. It´s very hard to find a good replacement to this mobile because it is so good and has a perfect balance between features, performance and price

i love my 6230 coz it wont let me down unlike the bulky n70 thats lags frquently...6230 is the best phone for me.. fast reaction cool features fast cams and videos in a small packges.. were can you find a phone that is much better than my 6230

I had this phone for 2 years then gave it to my dad who has had it for at least a year and its still going strong. Camera could be better but other than that a great phone.

To ALL 6230 FANS:
The 6230 was designed as a perfect phone. Nokia said it themselves. Nokia said you will never find another phone in this world, the same size, with all these features. Nokia was right because long after, many larger and smaller phones were and still are playing catch up.
Nokia noted this phone as being "Precision, Enjoy it"...I surely enjoyed having it and it's the longest I have ever kept a phone.
Simply the greatest phone of all time.

i think Nokia 6230's SO perfect cellphone iam still scared after 4 years to replace it to E51 which has many more features...well i might dare it someday!!!

i've been using this phone since 2004...it still function as the 1st time i bought it...THE BEST PHONE EVER!!!I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH!!!i'm not gonna sell this phone...its my baby...recently i bought 5610...which most said that the best sound quality phone or what sort ever...but i still think that 6230 still have a better sound quality compare to 5610...its very2 fast...besides, i love the design most...very sexy to watch!!!hee...

Next month myphone will be 2 years old since I bought it. For this time only I can say that my battery is expiring, or that I think. Because I have a 6681 too and often left my 6230 fully charged in my desk and one day I tested it how many days the battery lasts and I found that the battery actually lasts 6.5 to 7 days in standby mode. Is this normal?? because when I used it heavily I never tested it because I hadn´t any other phone to use. In normal use the autonomy is about 2.5 to 3 days (2 if I listen some hours of music)

Nokia for Life!!!! Hmmmmmm i have had a Nokia 6230 i liked it aloooooooot but then sold it ..now i got a Sony Ericsson W910i which stores 7000 contacts muahahahaahah
now im with Sony Ericsson

To DANI:
I only know of SIMs supporting 250 contacts maximum. Even if I came across a SIM card which supported 500, I still wouldn't see it the way you see it because SIM cards ONLY support 1 number per contact so if I wanted to store 5 numbers for a single contact I would have to put in there names 5 times along with the various telephone numbers WHICH SIMPLY means that you would have used up 5 slots out of the 500 for a single contact with multiple numbers. To make matters worse I wouldn't be able to store an e-mail address, street address and other details for that contact because SIM memory doesn't allow details to be saved.
So DANI, whether a SIM card has storage capacity for 500 or even 1,000 contacts, it just doesn't cut it for me. So I stand by my words.

True 6233 has only 500 contacts on the phone memory 6300 has 1000 ! ...but then Yes 6233 has 500 but sim cards have memory of 500 aswell
so its still 1000

The MAIN reason why I didn't get the 6233 is because it only had support for 500 contacts...which in my opinion, is a major downgrade to the 6230. Don't ever forget that first and foremost it's a phone so the telephony department is extremely important.

6233 is a very Nice upgrade to 6230
i upgraded from 6233 from a 6230
6233 is 100% brother to the 6230
feels the same Menu speed wise Navigation wise and features! it feels like a well prooved 6230 Upgrade.
iv tested 2 6300's and they are very good but to me its more of a 6230i Upgrade
6233 is the BEST succesor to the 6230

yup the 6230 does have that wow factor wherien you just don't want to let go of it.

I now have a Nokia 6300 which is a polished up version of the 6300, slimmer, better screen and a bit more features. I see it as being the the present upgrade to my respected 6230 but the wow factor isn't as great these days whereas the 6230 had a wow factor for years.
The 6300 is a great phone and I give it it's ratings but there's something about the 6230 which makes it stand out in a class by itself.

Nokia needs to make a 6230 classic which would aim to blow away every other phone in the industry...just as how the original 6230 crushed the competition back in it's time. Even though there are better phones these days, the 6230 is still one of the most dominant on the market and better than many just the same.

hey can anyone tell me what other nokia fones are as fast as the 6230? Because the 6230 is a very fast and reliable fone, performance wise.

i wish Nokia could make a phone to match this Legend 6230
