I do luv Nokia phones because it's accessories are easy to find but it's kind of complicated to find these Genuine products especially for the Nokia 6230 it's housings are so plastic can we have proper quality housings made and in a variety of colours

great phone... although it turns off sometimes and in a few seconds it turns on all by himself...

hey guys..i tink i nit help.wel i juz get 6230 nt long ago around a month.so far it's functioning well but sumhow sumting wrong sumwhere. firstly, d batery is nt lasting. i have to charge everyday even though i juz use it for messaging purpose.i change a new1.it's better but d batery only last for two days.is dat normal?secondy,i set a polyphonic tone as my message tone.there's a problem whereby wen i unlock to phone to stop the tone n read my msg,the tone stop but the vibration didn't n sound crocky.den my phone juz turn off.i try to on n after few attempts oli did i manage to do it.it's been twice dis ting happen.i nit help.did any1 here face dis pro.pls help me...

good fone but the camera is 1.3mp but it is very poor colour compare to sharp

Can anyone urgently help me please:
All the gallery on my Nokia 6230 has disappeared. All photos, videos and ringtones (even standard ones that were on the phone when I bought it) have gone. The phone isn’t even registering the memory card either The phone was in my pocket with the key lock on it so no buttons have been pressed.
When I go to use my camera now, the phone says ‘not enough phone memory, save to memory card?’ If I click on ‘yes’ it goes to the gallery to show that it is empty. If I click on ‘no’ is says ‘Memory full, delete items from Gallery’ yet the gallery is empty. There has never been any warning messages on my phone before when I have tried to use the camera, not until the gallery disappeared.
I have restored the factory settings to see if that clears the problem but to no avail. Also, when I turn the phone off, a small square with a blue question mark in the middle appears which has never been on the phone before.
I desperately need my gallery back, there are photos that I haven't had time to print out yet

It is the great phone with all the features.
When transferring data via bluetooth or infrared, data is stored temporarily in phone memory. then you have to save it to memory card. free up your phone memory by transferring data from phone gallery to mobile card. Use USB DKU-2 Cable to copy data directly to card using PC. Use large size memory card like 1GB to enjoy its songs features

hi all
we have brought our daughter the 6230 for christmas and for some reason we cant send mp3's to it via blue tooth. it has got a 32mb memory card inserted but it keeps coming up with the message "memory full" .
we have checked but the memory card is empty. do we need to do something with the settings, i cant find anything in the instruction book!

Hey! can anyone tell how can I transfer some games on the phone, without a data cable? I have copied java games through bluetooth, but the phone does not recognize the format of the games( that is what it says ).
Secondly, how can i listen to music from my MMC, using the music player? because it can only be used for mp3's stored on the phone's memory. indeed i can listen to music from the MMC, but only one track at a time>>i can't do anything eles with the phone during this, so i can not let the music play with shuffle like in winamp because after one track ends, music stops and i have to manually select another track:((( is there a software for this problem ?

Hi this phone is the best i have had so far previously i have had the Nec E313 which was okay Nokia 6600 which was great but to big and slow and many others brick phones etc. by far this is the best i am getting it 4 xmas but i have played on it before use. Easiest nokia to use yet which great funtions shame about the camera. is it true that you can change the camera for a mesily £20 some one told me this rumor.

I've got this phone 2 days before my birthday, and it's really nice, i love this phone and it's really my birthday wish, to have one. But can anyone tell me how to activate the email, and the mms? I don't know how to activate it. Please help.

well I just bought my phone 2day and so far I'm not impressed. In some sense I'm sorry I sold my 3200. Anyway seriously now, the video quality is poor, I had a dku 5 program but now I'll have to purchase Dku 2, I can't accse the net nor mms. I need help please.

nice phone, cute and stylish, but can anyone tell me how does instant messaging work? and how can i use the usb port? and it says that it's video recording is 4 mins but how come mine is only 13 seconds? your reply is very much appreciated. (lhen)
