hi ,
could anyone please help me out.when ever i try use the memory card on the phone it always says "INSERT NUMBER" what does this mean and how do i find out the number .and i have checked that the meory card is in the right way.

NokiaMia and ALL you others out there I'm having a problem which I hope somebody can assist with.
I created a playlist for my MP3s and now I would now like to delete it BUT see no possible way of doing so. Has anyone ever created a playlist (M3U) and deleted it from their Nokia 6230 ? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Big up crew.

it is a good telephone , it has 65k colours , vga camera , mp3 , radio , infrafred , bluetooth........... but it does not compares to 6230i , it has a better camera , a better sound(64 channels) ,it has real tones , it looks better , and has a better battery

@6230 lover: Hi, There's diffirences between 6230 and 6230i, actually:
- 6230 has 128x128 pixels screen, but 6230i has 208x208 pixels one. This mean you can see images, videos and everything on your screen much more better.
- 6230's ringtone is 24 channels, while 6320i's ringtone is 64 channels. If you hear it carefully, you will recognize.
- The Card slot of 6230i can up to 512MB, but 6230 seems not.
- Camera of 6230 is VGA (640x480), but camera of 6230i is 1.3MP (1280x1024). Better, right?

the two phones are the same. so if i were you take 6320i, just because it is a newer model. thats all. i have the 6230 and one of my friends have the 6230i, trust me, it is the same, and here were i live the 6230 is off the market.
its you choice tho.

I very dissappointed with 6230 cause i dont find anymore great function in this handphone especialy about the features! About the camera, i expect get more it but just a vga camera only!

It's really coooooool.... nokia has done a good job.. a compact fone with bluetooth and an Infrared reception that works!!!

Very Good fone.
Its speed is amazing compared to Symbian phones.
FM-stereo
MP3- stereo with Equalizer
Voice recording upto 3mins.
You can record a conversation on your mobile during speaking to some one on the mobile.
Video recording upto 4mins.
Note: No one requires for continous 4 mins.
About Software version:
V.4.43 has got some problems like during an incoming call the screen will still remains with its original wall paper.
And it cannot read MP3 files in sub folder files in theMMC etc.
Upgrade to V5.24. It solves almost all the problems.
Screen become fade during an icoming call.
It reads Sub foldersMP3 files.
Service menu Now become "Web"
That means it will open HTML pages without frames. for Eg.I used read THE HINDU Updated news on my mobile.
I am using NCP512MB card. It works without any problem.
Only limitation is it will play only #GP files.
No .rm, .avi files. You have to convert it to 3gp using free converting softwares. Search googl for that.
I ahd 10 video song clips and 80MP3 songs on my card.
More features for less money.
