Hi Guys.I hav been using N6230 (firmware vs 4.43) since Jan 05. Its really a great phone with good features n good price. Before this i was in great quest for a phone with all latest features n affordable price.And 6230 is what i found. Now iwann purchase a MMC card. Can any one please suggest me whether 512MB works(keep view on the firmware version 4.43). please also mention the brand avilable in INDIA.

if anyone wants a cheap decent phone , this is the phone for you. it has mp3 , fm radio , and blue tooth. i think this phone is a pretty good phone

Hi,
I have a problem, i got a used phone from a friend, and it has two rm and ram files (real audio i guess) in the handset memory. I cannot delete them. The delete options are shaded out, then i tried connecting it to my laptop and it says those files have the permission for no delete, edit, etc. How do i delete them (they are taking 5MB!!)? as resetting the phone to original does not work.
Appreciate some help on this.

Adrian,
The best way to put your music into your phone is to use the Windows Media Player. Play any MP3 files using the WMP.Before that,you need to put your Memory Card into the MMC slot.And then,from the WMP choose Copy to CD or Device.The file will be transfered on your card and you now can listen MP3 on your phone

No matter what I do, I cannot download music from my PC to my 6230i as it says my music is write protected. I have no idea how to get round this. I have downloaded music onto my PC from my cd collection and tried the drag and drop method but to no avail. Can anyone help?

I bought this phone about 1 month ago. I'm pleased by its functions but i have one big misunderstanding: my phone battery supports "maximum" 90 hours in stand by (producer's opinion is 150-300 hours ....?!?!) and believe me the phone is new, is original, operator's signal is about 95-100% strong, and i used the phone only as a "phone" (i mean for talking), not for entertaining. PLs some boy tell me if this is normal!
