I use Nokia's pc suite regularly to connect my laptop with my 6230 and the arrangement has worked pretty well so far. The only downside is that the standard 32mb card proved inadequate so an upgrade was inevitable. I've upgraded to 512 mb and can now store countless pictures and scores of mp3 tunes and dozens of videos. I'm thinking of a 1 gig card next. With bluetooth, a data cable quite unnecessary as even the largest files can be downloaded in mere seconds. But the phone has to be "paired" with a bluetooth compatible pc or laptop first. You can also attach a bluetooth-to-usb device to make the pc/laptop compatible. To "pair", turn on the computer, switch on phone, go to "connectivity" on the phome menu, select "bluetooth" and turn it on, next go to "paired devices" and select "Connect" with the highlighted device. An indicated confirmation is then displayed after which you can begin transferring files using the pc suite. An alternative is to right click on the file being transferred, select "send to" and then click on the name of your phone which appears as the destination. I have not had much success installing applications, but you can check out the nokia website for more help.

yes you can connect your phone to pc suite using bluetooth, the single thing that you can't do with your bluetooth is to upgrading your firmware(for that you need a cable)

To Mani,
Check the Firmware on ur mobile by pressin *#0000# For Firmware greater than 4.28[best 5.35] u can run the Music player even when u go back..U have to stop the Music file in the Music Player to stop the file...for earlier Firmwares ie 3.14,3.15,3.17, I think the Music file stops as soon as u go back..

What size memory card does this phone come with, is it 32mb. it seems really good and cheap, on vodafone contract it is free @ £15 a month, plus you get a bluetooth headset, seems a bargain, is it a really bad phone or something

This phone has only one downfall, that is, you can only recieve a file to save to a memory card if there is enough room on your phone memory to store it, if you want to save a 6meg file to mem card but only have 5.9 meg free phone memory, you cannot recieve it. That aside, great job again nokia.
