Of u r a Nokia fan then why do u ask?
there is no point actually since u will choose this, the phones u mentioned have a much better sound quality,
and the difference is big enough for the human ear to understand it...
not to mention the cam and display
but hey dont betray Nokia(do u have any relatives working for them?)
Because if u do,u wont be "cool"...

I'm very pleased with this phone, I have some questions:
1- how can I expand my sms memory?
2- how can i insert a sms picture form other folders except template?
3- is it possibel to know who has sent sms before opening it?, I mean it informs me to have sms.
please send the reply to my e-mail.
regards

blitz87 dude,
with regards to the volume keep popping up, there's nothing wrong with your phone. I've had the Nokia 6230 and 6230i, and paired them with 3 different brand of bluetooths before. Only the iTech BT brand didn't give any of the volume popping up "problems". I am currently using and quite happy with the Infinxx mini 300 despite its popping of the volume bars. My 6230i's software version is also 3.3

Hey,
quite a silly question but I have to ask all of you who own a Nokia 6230i. When showing pictures on the screen, either taken or as a background, especially with vivid colours, I see some lines starting from the top and to the end of the display, like when you see the refresh of tv screens when shown through a camera. Although it is not something that you might notice at once and if from a distance, but it might be quite annoying and I cannot understand why this happens. Should I take it to a NOKIA shop, it is still within its warranty period. Any suggestions or ideas? Has anything like this happened to you? Thank you in advance for all the answers.

juat bought d phone for a few days...not more then one week...i thought it is a good one...be frankly it is a good phone but...something happens...
i came across the problem with the assending tone... i thought it is because of the firmware,(told in the opinion pools(mine is 3.40) then i took it to the nokia care...they said it will be fix n it will take just two hours,i came back in time to take it, now it is load with firmware 3.50...i'm happy with it...but when i try to use my phone...guess what?
it shut up easily just when i press the menu...fix it a few times but still like that, i'm still waiting for it to be fix...hope there is no one that is just un lucky like me...

Upgraded my old nokia 6230 to 6230i about 7 months ago and i'm still loving this amazing mobile phone. Amazing pictures and great speaker sound as compared to the former version. Truly a masterpiece and a must have for any nokia freaks out there! And this is my opinion....

Nick,as u said it for a NOKIA user i would rate it about 9!!!
6230i is one of the most overrated phones ever, even now that the far more superior 6233 appeared, 6230 is considered one of the best NOKIA phones!!!!
This just prooves the marketing power NOKIA has,not only people are convinced that this phone is better, than its, far better main competitors, in dimensions, price, features, even design(K750)but even in the next gen improoved version of it!!!
Gongrats to NOKIA to taking advantage of all those victims out there!!

Hi,
Has any one being using the 3.5mm headphone converter?
If so, can you please advise if the "new" headphone which you used can skip songs ahead like the original nokia accessory?
thanks

my 6230i is great it has every possible feature that you want. good camera, mp3, great memory ect. great value for what you pay. cheap and very good to use. for a nokia user ill give this a 9. if it had 3g i'd give it a 10. by the way that error msg that comes for some users (file format not supported or not enough memory when there is) the software is fualty.

I really love this and even though the Nokia website says the max mmc card you can have is 512mb, I am using a 1gb card without any problems.
