What time of memory card does nokia 6230i? I want to get a bigger one for my phone and i am not sure what to buy. pls help

    There is no phone by Nokia which is called 6630i. Its is 6630, plain and simple. the screen in 6630 is much larger than 6230i. 6630 is a lot different if compared to the 6230i which is by far the one of the best in the market.

      thanks for your answer but i m still confused. ectually i m looking for a phone either 6230i or 6630i. i will take the one which has a bigger screen means physically bigger screen
      so tell me which has a bigger screen 6230i or 6630i. what i think 208*208 should be a bigger and better screen. and that is 6230i

        I brought 6230i a week back and so far, only one problem is bugging me. My Bluetooth connetion breaks after few seconds. Has anyone else got the same prob?? I'm using the Billioton USB Dongle with firmware virsion 3.23. and Windows XP Home. All and all, It's a great phone, dispite of few lapses.., which I hope will be addressed in future firmware updates.

            For those who say k750i rules, bla bla.
            I also bought it reading many reviews here and there. I think most reviews are biased.

            Personal experience:

            I have the phone it sucks with my bluetooth.
            keys are placed totally confusing way.
            maybe it is good as camera, radio etc.
            BUT as phone it is still far behind nokia.
            I think I will switch back to N6230i.

              Hi Max, the screen size is decided both by its physical size and pixel size. speaking technically, the pixel size is the actual size. Higher the pixel resolution finner the image. The N3230 has a physically bigger screen that the N6230i but a lower pixel size.
              N3230 176x208 pixel N6239i 208x208pixel.
              the N3230 just shows u the image streched in one direction but losing out to the detail and clarity. The N6230 had a 176x176 pixel screen so the N6239i has a sharper resolution.

                can anyone pls tell me which screen is bigger
                s700i,6230i or 6630i. how can you check the ssize of the screen that which one is bigger.
                i used to think it's done by screen resolution but later i came to know it's not bcoz see k700i has a bigger 176*220 resolution than N6600 176*208. but still 6600 has a bigger screen than k700i. pls mail me at max_84@rediffmail.com

                  the K750i is just beautiful!Black style... J like it. Yuo must know, this phone has 2 Megapiksels resolution photoaparat and autofocus!The yeang brother k750i wos god,this model i Very good. Remember: K750I ROULES!                       Hi,
                      This fone is v.good Sound quality is excellent, camera also v.good only one thing is suck that is battery life is not enough I can't spend the whole day with one battery I must change the battery in evening, cos I have 2 batteries.

                        i got this one month before.i really liked its camera result as well as its sound quality.it is expensive but something good can only be hired with big money.

                          Hi Pranav, just got to know that u got a 6230i. u mentioned the manufacturing date as 5-2005, was this written on the box or u checked it using the warranty code. i have a 6230i which shows manufacturing date of 4-2005 but when i checked using the warranty code it was 1-2005. U can also check online at www.numberingplans.com by using your IMEI number, i have earlier posted the warranty codes and the website link on this forum. Pranav i want to know that does your phone have the ascending ringtone and ascending SMS tone problem when the volume is set to max (level 5). Well i have had 2 phones with the same problems, i got mine just near its launch in may, and was given a replacement for it (my set started to reboot. the new set also had the ascending ringtone problems and it hangs up using the video recorder, so its still at the service and the nokia people does don't have not provided me solution till now. It seems that the initial batch of this phone has been the defective lot. please check up and post me a reply. Besides these problems the phone is a hit. I've never seen any phone with such awesome features and sound clarity.

                            thanks! im going to buy a k750 maybe next week... since i dont have enough money yet... in the meantime im going to use my old k300... good affordable phone...

                              Hey Mike,

                              I would recommend you move on to a SE750i since its dropping in prices now. All my friends and colleagues that has one says its excellent, and I am quite impress too. Just not really into the the joystick, as I prefer Nokia's navipad.

                              I regret buying the 6230i, its full of software problems, causing me to miss quite number of calls. The maximum ring tone is in ascending order (its crap "feature" of Nokia's & its very soft even at its maximum level), SE 750i is much louder & has no such software problems. Every now and then, its ringtone totally mutes itself, and only works again after I switch off and on the phone again. Whats the use of a phone that its ringtone is so unreliable? I've called and emailed the Nokia support, didn't help at all, and they didn't bother to reply to my emails. Pathetic after sales service.

                              If I only had the money, I wouldn't hesitate changing to SE750i.

                                  With 03.30 soft version can't send any mid,midi audio polytones,only amr.What's the latest soft version?I WANT UPGRADE.
