I bought this phone a month ago and I wish to throw it against a wall!!! It's battery lasts only a day (normal use: some calls, some mp3s, some wap traffic). Please bear in mind that it is a new phone, I suppose when the battery will start to wear it will last a few hours... This phone is like a super car that has a very small fuel tank, you barely make it to reach another gas station.
Conclusion: :((((((((((((

I absolutely agree with you, Nokiamia. This phone has served me well except its annoying ascending ringtone.

Boby,
This phone does not support a memory stick. It supports a MultiMedia Card (MMC). Don't waste your time and money buying a memory stick. Simply buy a standard MMC. Thats it. Enjoy.

Hi Pavel
You need to enter this code in order to see your firmware version:*#0000#.
Thanks for the reply Paul but I heard that it uses Memory Stick Duo Pro or something like that. so this is the tipe of memory combatible?

it's been awhile... anyway, this is my ~3mths report with my 6230i. well... it has been great. no problems whatsoever! i've given up on 1.3MP picture resolution coz it makes the phone slow during viewing or MMS-ing. so, now i just use 640x480 resolution. i still wish the color that the camera recreates is more accurate. the u-lead s/ware that comes in the phone's package enables me to burn multiple kinds of format into 3GP - cool. but the positive side of the phone is still strong - even tho there are so many other new (inc. 3G) phones out there. my 6230i has never frustrated me. dropped it a few times, but never died on me. it's really reliable. it's like a close companion to me - lovin it.

in my opinion NOKIA 6230i was the best release of the company at the moment for many reasons first the 32MB memorey with MMC up to 512MB and the 1.3MP camera plus the visual radio and the MP3/AAC media player which all take place in a wonderful elegant and stylish model phone .

Boby,
this phone supports upto 512MB of MMC Cards. Check before buying. It supports standard MMC. There are a lot of companies manufacturing MMCs like Transcend, Kingston, Fujitech etc. i myself use a 512Mb MMC by Fujitech and its working just fine.
