To PranavPC,
The Nokia N-Series will cost 3 times the Nokia 6230i. So if you think you can afford it then no question of buying 6230i. Another thing is that the release of the N series is expected in the second quarter of 2005 and in India it will release even later. So if you really need to buy a phone at once then go for the 6230i. Thats it.

        Dear All,
I've just bought this phone and pass my Nokia 3230 to my wife. Both phones are great!

However, I heard that there's a way to transfer the games downloaded to the Application Folder to the Games folder. Could someone help!

          Christine,
Zitron set should have a Zitron sticker under the battery, on the charger and headset. On the box, no Zitron sticker. You will also get some documents of warranty as well as Nokia M'sia invitation card (something like that). I suggest you going to "Mobile World" forum for this as they have a Zitron guy in the forum.

Despite so many issues I read, my 6230i has been working 100% fine since day 1 - in fact my old 6230 too was working fine which I hv sold off. My wife's 6230 is also perfect from day one, and she's still using it till today.

The 6230i, by many miles, is a GREAT phone. Hardware wise - perfect! On the software side, I do have a list of feedback to make the 6230i a BETTER and GREATER phone:
            1) Smaller font please (for Note, To-do, SMS, Web Browser). See 6230 as benchmark!
            2) Scrap the control configuration for Radio and Music Player. A direct control button using the navi-button is the best way. See 6230 as benchmark!
            3) 'SEND' button when viewing files in the gallery should be mapped to sub-menu "send via IR, BT or Multimedia'... NOT just 'multimedia.
            4) Galley quick link navigation e.g. "Save To"... change it back to "Open". See 6230 ver. 3.25 as benchmark.
            5) Menu navigation should be faster. See 6230 as benchmark!!
            6) BLUETOOTH MENU should be available for the "Right Button" shortcut. See 6230 as benchmark!!

These inputs could bring the near-perfect 6230i to PERFECTION!

                            for adaish:
try uninstalling everything, and then, load the drivers for the cable first, then load the softaware, that should take care of ur problem.

Help me..I have bought Nokia 6230i at RM 1420, which is a original set from Zitron distributor. The very next day, i have faced some serious problem with this phone when i pressed the key buttons, it did not show any light. So, I sent back to the shop for replacement. Fortunately, I was given the chance to change Nokia 6230i to other models which i did not do..Should I wait the replacement or change to the other models.Which models of Nokia phone is the best? Any good suggestions? How about NOkia 6230 or NOkia 7610? Please give the answer to my questions as soon as possible pending the replacement of my phone>.Thank you..

                                      Hi Guys,

I want to ask all the lucky owners of 6230i, if the phone book has a photo field and does the phone show up the snap of the person if either I call him or he calls me. Thanks a lot in advance.
